How to stop call recording announcement in moto g84 5g mobile

I am thinking of buying the newly launched Moto G84 5g smartphone. It has 12 GB of RAM. But since the Snapdragon 695 processor in it supports a maximum of only 8 GB RAM (that's what the google search says) does it mean this is a gimmick and the phone actually works only on 8 GB of RAM?

Got G84 this month, played almost (just) 2 weeks.
Normal use is fine, smooth operating, screen image is good ...
Charging, it support PD and (partial) QC even it didn't mention in the spec.
in connect to QC charger, protocol shows QC2 it won't use 9V and upper,
it is still 5V but ~3A, so you still can get the faster charge time.
Camera is worse than expect, I can use Gcam but not much improvement.
Unlike other mobile with Android 12,13, turn on Hotspot will force turn off Wifi,
what the..., this is all Moto do, I think, fine I don't use hotspot that much.
The worst thing is battery wear really fast !
Tested fast charge (30W) once or twice,
normally just use normal charge (2A) and stop at 80%,
but now battery health dropped to almost 90%.
I understand that those battery monitor apps are just for reference and not accurate,
Perhaps it is cheap low quality battery it is using.
Meanwhile I am using Blackview for almost 2months, battery health still 100%.

HtC u11 was a flaship device at the time and cost about $500 6 years ago, and HtC u23 Costs about the same now. But I can't justify paying such for a mobile phone when my needs haven't changed in 2023...I don't play video games or use social media...i need a decent device with larger battery and 5g connection, and I thought G84 would provide such... but having read the comments here I am not sure about it

For other Moto phones it's worth checking the regional versions: for the Edge 40 Neo, the UK version specifies Gorilla Glass 3 but not the Indian version.

Piece of trash phone. This is my 2nd and last Motorola phone I'll ever buy again. I have also a Motorola Edge 30 Neo, and has the same problems as this one:
- screen is so easy to break, if you drop it from 10 cm on any surface it will break;
- you can't listen to anything because the phone randomly decides to turn down the volume, sometimes after 1 minute, other times after 10 minutes, untill it silences the phone. And this can't be turn off anywhere.
- "do not disturb" decides randomly what to allow to disturb you, depends on it's mood.
- after any updates the phone starts to lag as hell.
- camera below mediocre.
- 4g also works when it decides to do so.
- lots of bloatware.
My advice, don't touch the Moto brand, save your money for something else.

Go see it somewhere ,and if you like buy G84.
Also take a look for Motorola Edge 40 Neo .
Looks like motorola promote only Edge series as good phones this year .

The Dimensity 8200, 8020 and 9200 all have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 beat, and so does the new Google Tensor G2 chip....."
-HTC u23 pro is expensive ,quality overall is better than G84 ,but camera is so so an software updates too . For price sold ,also look for Samsung A54 in term of quality ,software updates ,camera overall

Hello everyone,
I own an HTC u11 ( 6gb/128gb) that I bought when it was released in 2017. The phone uses Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 (10 nm) chipset and to date, it hasn't got any performance issues. The chipset is simply brilliant, allowing smooth multitasking etc. But it feels like I need a new phone with 5g and better battery capacity. So when I started looking for a new phone after 6 years, Moto g84 got my attention. I would like to go with HTC again but g84 is way cheaper than the new HTC u23 pro, which ibout twice the price of G84 but uses SD 7 Gen 1. Thus after reading the comments about the chipset I am confused whether the chipset would perform better than the 5 year older sibling used in HTC u11. Nanoreview suggests SD 695 performs better than SD 835, but would not have known it before personally using it.
So any one with experience and or advise? Thnak you.

Can this 695 SD chip be overclocked in some reasonable value. 2,4ghz and 2ghz?
Is it possible to do something like that or not??

Sry my mistake. But I found on different sites info about 8gb is max. It will work but 128gb is better option for this platform

This fone has a complete specification that all users need. But it's confusing that they use the 695 SD chip?? And offers 12gb/256gb version.???
695 SD can only support 8gb by the manufacturer specification. So, if you ask me would I buy this phone??? I'll say you yes, and no. Why not??? Think it's going to be a sluggish for use, with 265 gb memory. If chip supports only 8gb the rest may be virtual memo or Motorola find some solution to this 12gb ram on the chip. Tell me what do you think about this???
Great spec, great look and dimensions of the phone, great price. But this phone must use 778g procesor to work without any issues.
Just when I expected great time to get it a new phone, Motorola did this. Come on Motorola give us what we want from U.
If the chip was 778g U can easily be compered to Google 6, 6a,7,7a which is a great comparison
