Can anyone with this phone tell me what the battery life and heating on the device is like. Thank you

Main camera is less bright f/1.9 vs F.1.8 (of Moto G82 )
Also selfie camera looks like bad with f/2.5 vs f/2.2 (of Moto G82 )
but maybe use more sensitive sensor ...

It's arrived. In Marshmallow blue. Unique colour, looks great and feels nice in the hand. Playing around with it now but first for me was a test of the audio through the headphone jack. 10/10 for that.

This phone was on a list of four I had short-listed for my mother-in-law. The G84 was initially tempting. But after learning that it has the Snapdragon 695, I'm put off. All but one phone (Nokia X30) with this chipset seem to suffer from network and call quality issues (and the one that doesn't seemingly has a high SAR value, according to notebookcheck). Guess I'll check out the G54 instead (which is essentially just a modified G73 with a tweaked camera and tweaked battery) or the Galaxy A14 5G (which has the added bonus of a dedicated card slot instead of hybrid).

So this is essentiall g84 with an underscreen fingerprint sensor, two cameras intead of 3 and a better front facing CAM. i would love to get it now but i am afraid this might not see Android 14.

MakeMotoBetterAgain, 16 Sep 2023I think it should have 778g for the price, otherwise nothin... moreBack to back, some people may says it's SD695 is underwhelming however consider it's price at least in the UK for £249, it has 256GB storage, 12GB RAM, a 50MP 1/1.5" Main Sensor, AF for it's Ultra-Wide, a display peak brightness of 1300nits, 5000mah battery and SD Card Storage.
It's a good deal.

In autumn of 2023 you'd be suprised to still find SD695 in a mid-range device from a reasonably well-reputable company like Motorola. Bu I think the same can be said for Sony at an even higher price point.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2023Are you sure ? A34 seems to be atleast 50% more expensive. The a34 cost more and the screen is horrible and believe me the bloatware with Samsung they try force Samsung on you the call app the password app the app. No doubt someone will say you can disable them. Good luck, we all know how us phone hobbiest are like and I assure you the a34 Samsung if it had the Moto software aka STOCK would be a killer device. Though the screen is an embarrassment on the a34 a proper let down believe me reading anything is a nightmare. Just go with this or the Moto edge 40 neo. Motorola do not escape I read some low end device in the E range get the bloat treatment.
