Also on the Middle east and international websites for Motorola, there's not a single trace of this so called 5 years of updates for the new Edge 50 Neo.

I get the feeling this is a mistake from Moto themselves, why the Neo and not their Pro or regular Edge 50 series?
It could be the information is related to an Enterprise version of the phone. Your links show some "Enterprise Edition" sign anyway.
I guess we will find out when the phone launches officially globally.

      Motorola's marketing is wrong .Νο need 26 phones for 2024 line up.
      Less models , better specs ,better support .All available worldwide with fair price policy too.

        Motorola Edge 50 Neo is overpriced .Maybe for that software support .
        Someone wrote in reddit. about EU will require tech gadgets to have 5 years support from June next year. This must be the start of a new policy by Motorola .

        In the other side G85 is overpriced too .You can buy in similar price the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in EU market .An overall better phone ,better sofware support.

        But when new Motorola policy is on the way ,I think better stand by for next models .

              Motorola's policy is to dismiss customers in current models if something marketing wrong .
              Now return to flat screen,as all major mobile brand do the same , and even better, offer 5 OS updates starting by Edge 50 Neo . Stay if you like with curved fragile screen , limited support or buy a cheaper but value for money modern model if you don't want spend more money .

                Do not panic answer to support your G85 choice .
                Just quote the right answer to people wrote about ,not mixed ,not selectable.
                Also stop blame about opinion other people. Looks like as you earn money by Motorola to promote G85 .It's not up to you Motorola's hardware faults ,marketing or warranty policy.

                            Just because the A35 got software updates, doesn't mean it's software improved.
                            I literally have this device in my hand. Nothing got better after updates.
                            And perhaps this is market dependant but nothing has changed in my region.
                            Also I dont know where you get the idea that the A15 has a great camera lol.
                            I think you have had very bad cameras in the past to think the A15 has a great camera in low light.

                            I never said G85 is the best phone in the world. It's a better camera phone than the A35 for sure and certainly better than A15.
                            A55 is the superior of all of them. But it also costs a whole lot more than any of the phones you keep praising.

                                  Motorola's policy ,now promised 5 android updates only for edge 50 neo costs 400 euro .
                                  This has to be a joke, what happens to the higher price models, pro, fusion and ultra?

                                  So what are simple people think about quality ,support etc of G series with this policy ?

                                    Quality is different thing than specification or support .For the price sold G45 maybe is better than G85 in practice .Who cares about type of screen if looks better than a low end Poled etc

                                    With last software update Samsung fix many camera bugs in A35. Even in cheap A15 5G mentioned in other post ,night shot now is far better .
                                    Motorola rare offer software update to fix bugs ,usually did that for higher price devices .
