Best bang for buck in 2020 and ticks many boxes.
Headphone Jack ; decent cam with telephoto ; Battery Life ; latest OS; clean UI; has Gyro
( for "men of culture" ); and upgraded specs across the board compared to 2017 budget phones + a good price on top of it.
If your'e on a budget but still want to upgrade to a shiny new phone every year or two and dont use NFC. Then this is the answer. This is my upgrade to my mi max 2 which was the bang for buck in its time."and why not redmi k30 you ask?" Xiaomi phones are great but i hate advertisements on my phone.

The US Motorola site lists this as "G Power" (without the 8) and may have slightly different specs. E.g. it shows band 71 which I do not see above.

All the comments are reasonable & three days juice would be great. My Moto One lasts just under 2 days between charges (according to GSam Battery Monitor) but how long will Motorola/Lenovo support the Android install? The Moto One got one upgrade from O/8 to P/9 a few months after purchase & still gets security updates... but isn't on their list for Q/10.

The Moto G7 Power was brilliant for price, performance and of course battery life. But fair enough increase the price for the G8 Power but when your charging £220 but not including 5Ghz WiFi that is just criminal. Any phone above £180 it should be a given to have 5Ghz WiFi surely they could have dropped one of the lenses to fit it in budget. Had it had that and a £200 price point it would have been perfect but no 5GHz WiFi means I wouldn't pay more that £150.

No NFC and No Compass... That was the worst part of my UK version (extra-gimped?) G7 Power.
Really like the long battery life. Would definitely upgrade if they add both.

This maybe the runner up for the best Motorola phone from 2020. What I don´t understand is, all the G8 line, has very similar specs.
Al habe the same snapdragon 665....
