[deleted post]Bro I'm using this phone for the past 3 months.. I have never faced any network issue.. Nor any battery issue.. Those who know nothing about battery life will cry.. Battery is better than many phones out there better than Asus zenfone 5 even my previous canvas HD which used 2 die only after 3-4 hrs of usage..

I am using Moto G 2 for last one month. The main negative point is that the signal strength of this phone is extremely poor. I am using another phone Blackberry. In both the phone the phones - Blackberry & Moto G, I am using Airtel connection. I travel frequently. I noticed in slight congested area no network is available in MOTO G 2 whereas the Balackberry set has good network. One of my know person is also facing the same problem.

its the best cellphone in the range between 10k to 15k.I'm using this cp from last 2 week there is no lag yet.really its very fast,camera also superb,great thing is 16 GB storage.really it is the best cp for regular use.

2013 - When moto g... moreBro, check out the performance of phone. Instead of looking down at paper and speculating anything from your mind will not give you reasons why motorola did this. You said they brought moto g into market with amazing specs last year and shook the market. Now the fact is that there is not much room for improvement above that. Original Moto g had no sd card that was because of a reason. The reason is that it had specially allocated memory units for everything like - videos, pictures and other stuff which means while you try to access your videos and pictures phone processor already knows which path it has to follow and there are no free spaces in memory which means memory is always de-fragmented. In simple words - when we use our phone for a long period of time some empty units in memory are formed which will make your device go slow with time. But that is not the case with original moto g. Meaning- when motorola said that they are going to make a very cheap phone for normal people who cant spend a lot on phones they meant cheap but very usable and fast device. Moto g first gen is still one of the fastest devices out there. In fact you'll be surprised to see that even if you fill its 16 Gig memory fully still the performance will be as smooth as new and empty device. And one of the reasons why apple phones run so smooth.?
Now people did not understand the fact of not using memory card in phone and they wanted to have more. Hoever practically No sane person fills his phone upto 12 gig. but still people wanted memory card. motorola added it.
The dimensions of the phone were perfect but people wanted bigger screen they did it again. all the changes that were brought to moto g were boz people wanted em. Now people like you are still not satisfied.
You want 2 gig of RAM and a better processor then go for moto x which is priced just a bit higher than moto g 2.
Moreover its just people like you who instead of looking for practical usability of phone keep on looking at the paper if it has snapdragon 800 or not. it doesn't matters if it Runs all smooth at snapdragon 400 itself.
Those who make such masterpieces are engineers bro. They have already gone through every aspect which you are just thinking today.
I personally dont feel any lacks or cons in this phone. If you still think paste it here and I'll tell you why it is like that. Perhaps it'll give you a better idea of what motorola was doing when they launched this set.
It is still one of the cheapest devices out there. with proper quality and a surety of updates, which other phone do you think comes closer. If you'll ask any geek who knows abt phones he'll simply tell you the differences between moto products and xiomi, micromax, samsung and others at this price. This is still one of the best handsets at its price.

2013 - When moto g 1st gen was launched then there is no competition to it and no alternative to it and it prised as best budget phone and it kicked motorola to top 10 smartphone vendors in the world
2014- But now things were changed new players were came like xiaomi asus they offering much offoradable devices at dead cheap price like redmi 1s(1gb ram at 6k) , mi3(2gb ram at 14k), zenfone 5(2gb ram at 10k)
But motorola released moto g 2nd gen with no change in hardware, in 2014 still 1gb ram at13k WTF???
I think Motorola folowing the footsteps of nokia

when we r playing any game.with in 10 to 15 mints backside part getting heat.its getting smell like when a current wire burn like that its smell is coming.

I am using moto g2 from last two months. It is very good ph. Its touch,look, picture quality, performance just every thing is fine.Now I want to buy moto g2 8GB version when it will come in market? Anybody knows about this? Pl. Inform.

I changed from the 4g model to the second gen model. Reason being all my data downloads happen over my wifi so 4g speed was not the selling point. I find the bigger screen useful and the upgraded camera a vast improvement over the 5mp of the 4g version. Having stereo front speakers again not a selling point to me personally but if you want to belt out some tunes and don't have a speaker to connect to it is sufficient. I love the dual sim cards. I bought another sim on the boost network in Aus for their great unlimited call rates and huge data allowance. But I can still use my old number. what I do not like is it looks the same from either end so unless you are looking at it from the side the buttons are on then you don't know the top from the bottom, but hey that is a minor thing. What I do love about these Moto phones is the gorilla Glass 3 which does not leave grimy finger marks all over them and they are tough as nails. for $250 Aud it is a great buy. too many compromises on the competitors like only 4gb memory or poor display or lack of android updates. Oh and I forgot it is splash proof which is perfect for me as I ride a motorbike sometimes in the rain.

If u r saying that windows is bttr thn u can say only there camera is bttr otherwise windws phone users cant evn upload fb photo properly mssngr is dammn slow ur uc browser dwnload speed also nt compareable and the moto g2 is so gd phn
