Having said that I really don't notice any lag in normal day to day use and it's only going to get better (I guess) once it is updated to Lollipop with its ART runtime.

Ace, 28 Nov 2014Monu,you have to see whether you are inserting the sim in p... moredey, what are you talking yarr, why you bother what people want to spend with their pocket money. it isnot yours yarrr. if they want to buy apple go ahead, if they want to buy android let them be.... if they choose WP go for it..... so dont be so sceptic about androids suck. every os have their own pro and con. there are no really good os available. it is life yarr. nobody is perfect 10/10 ok.

After few days of use I m loving it...performance wise it can compite with any high end device, Motorola is doing great with all the updates & making available stock android without any lagging in performance.

After destroying my Nexus 5 in salt water (oops) I got the moto g. I expected a huge difference in terms of performance and screen quality but I was pleasantly surprised! There is very little lag normally and only rarely have I experienced significant lag, mostly when many apps are open. This wouldn't be a problem if it was upgraded to 2GB of ram (or even 1.5GB)I cannot discern any difference between it's 720p display and Nexus's 1080p! The sound from the stereo loudspeakers is in an entirely other league compared to the tiny sound of my former Nexus 5. The battery is a lot better than my late Nexus 5 but I think Motorola should have upgraded this with the new version. Finally it's ergonomics are excellent.

this phone sure good but battery backup very bed because charging time min 40 hr & discharging time 2 hr on use

It is faster and software update also comes to any lumia phones.
Or you can try new microsoft lumia 535.with 5mp back and front camera.535 is just rs.9199

After lot of hopes on moto g2, some times not happy due bugs.Phone hangs multiple times for me.
1.Getting call while watching video
2.Network fluctuating after switching data on and off
3.Some times slow untill I restart phone
not remember few more but over some software bugs in phone

Moto g2 performance review...
1.very big disappointment in terms of battery life .on paper it looks average but while usage ,battery backup was below average.
2.icons size are not good..and you cannot change it
3.the phone gets heated very quickly when using as well as during charging
4.non removable battery
5.hardware is not latest,so latest android version will make it very lagging and slow after few days
6.After few apps android as always will come more slow and will lag a lot

gaurav, 02 Dec 2014what is the battery backup in moto g2...pls tell meGaurav,battery backup is 2070 mAh which is not enough for an android device with 5'.
Maybe in the beginning it can perform decently but after few days it will drain very quickly.
I would suggest you nokia 730.check it out
