I have been a user of the iPhone for many years - however, the lag in speed, response to touch and drop in calls were frustrating. Have just bought myself a Motor G 2nd gen and I am delighted with all the features, the speed, clarity of voice and the fact that all issues have been taken care of. I am beginning to wonder why Motorola did not do so well in India - it is fantastic value for money.

But it's stupidly overpriced, on par with the Snapdragon 801-equipped OnePlus One. Xperia C3 is on par with the Moto G 2nd Gen, but there will no Lollipop of the device, IIRC. Plus, Xperia UI is not the best looking UI.
The best choice would be the Moto G 2nd Gen. Fast updates, as smooth as a butter, nearly stock UI, and finally, stereo front-facing speakers. Those are a bargain at that price.

Gorilla Glass with Scratches after 1 week of use.
Got mine a week ago moto g 2nd gen XT1068 dual sim version. Updated it to lollipop and I'd say it works great. The only problem that I had for this phone is the "Screen". I never used it quite often yet and after 1 week of use it already has 2 1-inch size hairlike scratches on the lower 3rd of the screen. I haven't used it that much and never put it in a pocket with keys or coins so I'm surprised it had these scratches. I have been very careful with it because of the replacement policy but I was surprised on what happen. I remove the factory screen plastic 3 days after purchase believing it has Gorilla glass and the screen is clear at that time. Never drop it and never used it with sand or hard steel. Only gone to (clean)pocket to hands, just that.
I have been a user of "Nexus 10" tablet for 2 years now with Gorilla glass 2 on it without any screen guard and even now there is still not a single scratch on it, I even put things on top of it like keys and coins, even used rough cloth to wipe out the finger prints, even used it as a pingpong racket once, still no scratches.
So I suggest for users to put screen protector on it. I don't know, maybe because my Nexus 10 was made in Korea unlike my Moto G that is made in China, maybe they have a different way of making Gorilla Glass in that part of the world.

So im having a hard time choosing which phone to buy. Considering that these 3 phones are in the same price range. Which should i buy? Moto g 2014, galaxy a3 or xperia c3? Please help me. Which one is better?

leisa, 13 May 2015I had constant problems with this phone. Bought in Jan 2015... moreif you are havin any cover on it then remove it because it is sensitivity problem..

Its really a gud smart phone. works very gud.. its being 7 months I brought moto g2 it has no problem in it...

I had constant problems with this phone. Bought in Jan 2015. The more I used the phone during the day, when I'd unlock the screen it would turn black and go back to locked. Took it back and was told to reset factory settings. Didn't help. Phone was replaced in Feb and ended up with The same problems, to the point where it would take up to 10 swipes to get it to unlock (did not have a password). Now with Huawei and am happy. Will never touch Motorola again

bhaijan , 12 May 2015I am thinking to buy this moto g Go for it. Moto G2 is the best budget smartphone in the world. Camera is very good at this price range. Performance is excellent.....Till now no lags or hangs..... And as i said it earlier...... if you want timely updates and pure stock android experience then i will definitely suggest you to go for it..... :D

Kutty, 12 May 2015Moto g means G or G2yeah go ahead. battery will last for one day dont expect more than that. And also accessories provided with the device are very basic so here also dont expect too much. In all other respects phone is amazingly good.

Best phone in the range.. It has some minor problems but can be resolved after updating to lollipop version. Great device.. Never faced hanging problem in set.. Gives a thrusting speed of 800+ kbps in Voda 3g

Battery backup is not very good. and also the charger takes much more time to full charge. but if it shows 100% battery while connecting to charger, after disconnected it shows 97-95% or less within 5-10 minutes.
