Guys moto g2 is the best phone in this price range for more than 7-8 months no other phone defeats it.. No wonder it's one of the best phones in the world too!!

Am back!! Dark Shadow if you have any problem with the grand prime fans.. Do go ahead and report them.. They can't stand the fact that moto g is better.. Let them cry but report them.. They are not supposed to do a sales persons job on this page!!

Luidi, 10 May 2015Dark Shadow!! Which is good HTC 526 G+ or Moto 2nd Generation?526g+ - not a bad device. But as is said by tanii lacks HD screen which is felt not actually when u use it but specially when you once start to use a HD screen. So first of all screen of moto g is better.
2 - it does not supports OTG which means pen drive can not be connected. While this feature comes in handy in moto g.
3) lacks a few sensors but its ok. Gyroscope is used only in some 3d games and a few 3d wallpapers. And also I think it lacks compass as well (but not sure)
4) Mediatek processors are quite cheap and are used in cheaper indo chinese brands like - micromax, lava etc. These chipsets start to show lag in multitasking and are not as smooth as a phone should be with such specs but these differences are noticeable only if you are a heavy user otherwise not a big issue.
5) Battery backup is very average. It is quite similar to moto g but moto g has to handle a HD screen with almost same amount of battery.
6) No surety for updates.
7) Better to hold in one hand and feels very thin. But its a personal opinion, So you must check it yourself in some store nearby.
8) As tanii said about video formats.
9) Biggest issue with HTC is that these handsets are very delicate and screens are very fragile. If you think that you cant take care of device properly then dont go dor it as it has no screen protector - no shatter proof glass or no gorilla glass.

Pros: Confirmed updates
Cons: Supports 720p video, but that's ok not a big deal
Snapdragon is better than mediatech, moto g 2 has snapdragon 400.
Battery capacity is approximately equal, htc may consume less battery due to smaller & non-hd display.

Never charge your phone while it is having some battery to spare. Do a long charge only when phone's battery is below 15% straight upto 90% at least. And never over. Harge ur phone. If you follow this procedure battery of any phone doesn't needs to be changed within 2 years. Also backup remains good. Your problem of motherboard is either by overcharging, or by some accidental drop, or perhaps its a manufacturing defect that grew with time. Cant xacly tell. Ask service people about do's and dont do's.

[deleted post]brother m not in mood of proving you wrong in everything. So please bro, you keep your good ideas up to you. You are happy with your device its good to know. Dont just force me to write realities about grand prime. I am not just a consumer, i am a product designer and I know about electronic products upto a good depth. I dont just talk. Everything I paste here is having some proof. I know much more about camera as well as i am a amateur photographer also. So its good that you are satisfied with prime. I've used it and I did not find it very pleasing as per my requirements so its really hard for me to like prime after I know all the drawbacks of both the devices.

Hi frnds iam using moto g 2 from 4 months.. i had a problem where phone automatically gets off n on.. when i gave for service they said that motherboard has to be replaced.. however it is done free of cost bcoz i had 1 yr warranty.. but my question is that how was the motherboard was damaged????

talk to flipkart's cutomer service. It must be some fault in numbers. People usually get device the next day and if you live in some inaccessible place then almost a week. 33 days is too much. Talk to flipkart, they are good at this.

What I should buy.
Moto G2 or HTC 526 G+
Moto has same type of camera. Moto has 2090mah bttry n the other (HTC) has 2000mah! But what attracts me to HTC is its processor
(HTC- 1.7 ghz) with octa core processor better than moto! At the END having 1.5ghz processor with 64 bit operating system is as S-A-M-E as having 3ghz processor with 32 bit operating system! The only good thng i can see in moto is gurilla glass 3. I need advice! HELP ME
