I was using this phone since 1week,I want to clear some things.
Every phone which was costlier or reasonable or cheap phones have some issues,there is no phone with out an issue but coming to this phone,MotoG2nd gen phone was really awesome,worth to buy and more value for money,every thing was cool and excellent when compared to other branded phones for this price.I want to say 1 line,
If You are looking in budget,for duel sim android ph.....Then go get it.....no other option in this price to but a good phone

guys if you are a sure that you are a heavy user then only you should look for a better battery, if you think you will be using your phone normally with normal gaming and normal phone calls some video watching then in my opinion it lasts a day which is enough. Plus you get everything at such a low price. See I'll tell you my usage -
I was having a budget of 20k while I bought my moto g 1st gen (yes first gen) because m a person who thinks very practically about all the features that i am going to use and need. Now in that budget I could have gone with xperia ZR, grand 2 or there were a few others as well. I was also aware that 2nd gen moto g was about to be launched soon. But I wanted a smaller screen.Memory card to me was no big issue as all I wanted was - one big game like asphalt 8, latest android, smaller screen, good resolution, OTG support and this was the only device which was offering all that. I also looked for shortcomings like non expendable storage and a bit average battery and a very average camera. But because I use a proper camera as i am a amateur photographer I knew that an average camera for phone will do.
Now why i am telling all this because i am a satisfied customer and if you want to get a product for the money you spend dont wander and look for which brand you have to go for, just note down what do you need and is this phone fulfilling that need or not. People ask which phone is better. Answer is simple - not a single one is best in everything. But one of them can be made better by choosing wisely which ultimately leads to satisfaction.
Presently I am using lollipop on my device (moto g), which is having a very good screen quality and fits perfectly in one hand. I have one heavy game - Asphalt 8 and a few smaller games which I play at least a hour almost everyday. Wats ap is used all day and net remains on whole day, but while I sleep I turn it off. OTG pen drive from san disc is there, which is blazing fast. I usually put movies in that pen drive and use it a lot. Sometimes when there is a family outing as soon as we come back home I just plug in the pen drive to tv and zoop - all the pics that we clicked out there are in front of everyone on a big screen and if someone is new he/she always asks - "When did you just send those pics to pen drive?" Because I always keep that pen drive with me so I can transfer at least 15GB of data here and there any time. Later on all the pics from pen drive are sent to lappy. No wires, No time wastage, it simply categorizes all my devices along with daily normal usage and I love it. Phone also remains empty most of the time right now. 5.52 GB is still available. Charge it everyday 8 pm. I have 3 back panels which i use on different occasions. like usually i go with turquoise color, a white one i bought for drawing some self art stuff, And a black for adding up the grace.
2nd gen moto g is similar in every aspect plus it has a better camera and storage, I personally prefer 1st gen's screen size as it fits in hand but otherwise 2 is better in most aspects. Front Speakers specially sound quite loud as compared with other devices. So I'll say make up your priorities first and then choose a device.
there are guys who are happy with Grand prime as well but I'll ask to prioritize ur needs first because u'll not get everything in one device.

i got this phone a weak back
i found that it has poor batery life
rear camera performance is bad
this phone hangs while playing games like subway and templerun 2
but other then its good

frndz if u want to take mobile in 12999 try for xiaomi remi 4i.same price better specifications than moto g2.superb fone mi 4i.i have experienced both but mi 4i is much far best than motog2.so i suggest u to buy xiaomi remi 4i...

Sometimes mobile shows wrong battery percentage
If 75% charging is there after sometime it shows 1%
After some time it becomes to 73 like that
Don't use navigation with mobile data
Bcoz mobile becomes too hot when charging

I want to buy moto g2 second gen.but not convinced wid the battery backup of 2070. Should i wait for some more time til motorola releases motorola moto g2 4g in india which has already released in uk? It has same specs jst as g2 2nd gen jst battery is better.

M saying that everything in prime is ok but not the best specially for the price. I've used it bro. I recommended it to one of my frnd and till date he abuses me for that wrong decision. In fact i told him that phone is not bad but u should tell me your requirements first. At that time he said battery and camera only. I said ok- definitely prime has better camera and battery. But then he came back to me and gave a real demo of sluggishness. I was shoked to see bcoz its snapdragon 410. It must run fast enough. We compared it to my moto g and difference a was like any child can easily tell what's goin on. Frame drops in games are so annoying that it starts to give headache if u continously play it for sometime. Bro m telling u compare it side by side and u'll urself see.
After that incident we went to samsung store where my frnd lost his temper when he saw this salesman tellin some people that prime has Hd screen. And poor people dont kno a thing about resolution and ppi. I keep on pushing at ppi bcoz its very necessary and difference is clearly visible. Icons look shabby on non HD screens, colors lack that depth. Perfect example is - moto g 1st gen. If any of your frnd has that jst notice when menu is opened the black background mixes so well with the black plastic of the screen that it will b hard for u to find boundaries of screen. This is the work of higher ppi. Moto g 1st gen is having 326 ppi similar to an i phone. While samsung is still lying there on 220 ppi at the price of 13k. It is totally like making fool of people. You tell me which other company has non HD screen at this price. Sony is there but still close to HD at least they have 240 above values which look better. All others offer a proper HD screen. Bro i dont kno what will you get by being so adamant. ?
