For all those who are whining like a kid and complaining that Moto G3 is missing notification led,
Rooting enables the led to notify during charging purposes.
Further devs are enroute to make it for app notifications too.

The Official Motorola Forums Manager
(Who is competent, and can be trusted, says that the lines that can be seen beneath the display is the Touch Screen that you can see, which makes sense):
