I had the original Moto G, after having an Apple. It was the greatest thing since slice bread. I loved it, more then any other phone No issues. I know have the new Moto 3G. This thing is the exact opposite. It has enormous problems with software. It crashes all the time, It can not download apps. It has issues with a brand new SD card and storage. Its speakers are also not as good. Its a cheap Chinese phone. Now that I learned the Chinese bought them, and they oversaw the development of this phone, it makes sense. I would pass for another phone.

The best phone I've had ever! Everyone that has issues.... You must treat your phone like crap or download harmful data and buggy apps. I have had my G3 for 5 months and haven't had a single issue. Dropped it multiple times "with a case and without", nothing wrong! I would recommend this phone to those who need dependability and reliability. The cost is a plus also. See if you can find a phone that offers all the Motorola G3 does for under $200. BEST PHONE PERIOD!!!

I have dropped my Nokia twenty times and nothing happened. I dropped my Samsung a zillion times and nothing went bad. I dropped this Moto G (3rd gen) just once.. and it wasn't a bad drop either. Just slipped from my hand and fell.. and the glass on the front screen broke!
Next I called the service center to repair it.. and they are quoting 60% of the phone cost as the charge for repairing this...
I might as well throw this out of the window. I'll never never buy Motorola phones again.

Surprisingly, I am not getting incoming calls since this morning. When tried from other mobile the 'busy' voice is coming. Tried a couple of times by removing the SIM card. Unable to understand how to fix the problem.

This phone is really good for first few months of use. I have faced several problems as
                              a. Red screen on the edges
                              b. Speaker - It stops several times and then automatically works again.
After Sales service is the poormost. They will ask to keep your phone for 2-3 months to get the problems resolved. I mean, who in the world would want that ?

I will give 0 marks for after sales service, Instead of this phone, i will suggest to buy other phones with better support. This is a problematic model. No reliability.

Moto G 3 set has problem of Mother board. Service of Motorola device is very poor. Even after almost four months, they have not been able to replace the mother board under warranty period. Spare parts are not easily available. If you speak to there customer care , you will get reply that parts have been demanded from China. Will take some time. You will be harassed so much that after few months you will stop asking status of your mobile repair.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2016Hey guys, I want to get a new phone this summer, and I'm t... moreDear friend,
Moto g3 is 5" not 5.5 and the specialty is its peculiar design which makes it very comfortable in your hand. I previously used a galaxy s4 mini 4.3". I too was worried about going to a bigger screen, I too love compact handy phones. But now I am very satisfied with moto g3 in this regard. 4" may be better for one handed use but two thumbs typing is a breeze now.. It is very handy phone.

Then I never knew what is this overheating issue??? I never felt it. I am very satisfied with the performance and usb otg at this price. The drawbacks I noticed till now are… the network selection has 3g/4g preferred modes and 2g mode only not 3g/4g ONLY mode (if you need it anyway) however network stability is superb compared to galaxy phones. Another thing, while connecting data cable, motorolla is not giving mass storage option, still you can transfer files using MTP mode. I also feel the gorilla glass to be a little resistant so that handwriting or drawing or using stylus is not as smooth as in my s4 mini. And you may also find some of the UI customizations in samsung MISSING because this uses pure android ui which you can tune it using apps upto a limit.

However the performance and design features are excellent to ignore the minor drawbacks. I wish Lenovo keep motorolla going with its own identity.
