harsh, 10 Feb 2016moto g is otg competable or not It's otg compatible but it doesn't detect pendrive that is ntfs formatted. Either you have to format your pendrive to fat32 format or install some third party apps to detect ntfs formatted pendrive. I use "total commander" and "USB plugin for Total Commander by paragon" apps from playstore in order to connect with ntfs pendrive. It works flawlessly.

I've been using it from Aug. Excellent performance. Reliable battery. But after the recent update released in Jan, I have a feeling that battery drains faster than before. Irony is that the last update had specific battery enhancing features. Lol. Phone slightly heats up now. But that's common in any android phone if you ask me. I hope they fix the battery issue in the upcoming version. It is clearly coz of the new update. Overall, very good phone.

I found a fix to battery issue on this phone on Marshmellow.
Go to Settings > Location > 3 white dots on the top left corner > Scanning > DISABLE SCANNING FOR WIFI AND BLUETOOTH
That fixed my issue with that.

I too have the same problem my wi-fi is taking more power than usual, I have installed coc from that point its taking wifi power. In battery usage the wi-fi is always at the top, this problem is still presiding even after i uninstall the coc game and restarted the phone. If anyone find any solution please reply back

Still on 5.1.1... ...i've read somewhere that 6.0 update has begun roll out in Spain at least so maybe Europe overall is close to get it soon. It sometimes sucks to live in Europe, especially if you are avid smartphone/tablet consumer like me because nowadays the support focuses firstly on India/Asia market, then US usually and lastly Europe. I know the market here is the smallest one so of course, efforts towards Europe are far less than Asia/US. Well, i hope Lenovo/Motorola soon wakes up and realizes that there is this little place called Europe too ;)

I recently bought a moto g 3rd generation mobile . it is absolutely good except that after a few days of usage incoming call alerts fail. I receive the call but ringer wont sound even if volume at full levels.after factory reset again for two days . then again the same problem wud arise. Help needed at the earliest.
