Bought the phone a bit less than a week ago (Unlocked), and so far so good! The separate Motorola Shell cases that you can buy work extremely well! I've already dropped the phone twice (accidentally of course...) onto a tiled floor from around a meter high, and the phone has survived without a scratch. In the box I received a USB wall charger, USB cable, earphones, and of course the phone... Let me just say not to buy the phone for the earphones, as it's a budget phone and the earphones are horrible. 4G on Telstra works extremely well, as do calls. Operating speed is excellent as well, with the phone fully started and ready to use in 45 seconds! Android 4.4.4 KitKat is also extremely fluid and runs extremely well on the Moto G 4G hardware. The MicroSD card slot is a great addition to the 4G model as well. Also, Motorola has guaranteed that the first generation Moto G (including the 4G LTE model) will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. All in all (in my opinion) the Motorola Moto G 4G is an excellent choice if you're looking for a semi-budget phone that performs extremely well.

deadalus, 05 Nov 2014for something so simple as running out of battery while usi... morethere's a fix now, you plug it in to the charger then hold down the volume down button together with the power button, for 120 seconds (over 2 minutes). The flash boot screen will display with normal reboot automatically selected. Press the volume up key to boot your phone.
if this doesn't work charge your moto for 15 minutes then retry again.
obviously this is a long process so it is much better just to keep your moto g charged

for something so simple as running out of battery while using it, they actually forgot to QA that properly and as a result it will just brick itself when it runs out of juice. It won't even charge. Google around the phrase "Moto G won't charge or turn on" and you'll see a lot. The solutions you see don't work for all who have had this issue. Me included.

don't get this phone. my moto g 4g is now officially bricked according to a moto technician. it just ran out of battery. pathetic.

They dont include earphones and wall adapter because its a budget phone, everyone should own a pair or earphones/headphones an a wall adapter and keeping to the budget

I ordered new batter kit from Amazon it came with video . From video I learned how to change battery. I di changed battery to 3300 mah by myself. So do not worry much someone will be able to change battery for you. I am now using MOTO G 4 LTE

I searched Amazon found battery replacement for this phone TX 1045. If you search more you will find instructions how to change battery . I have Moto RAZR. I change battery to 3300 mah by myself with the help of video from supplier.
