Hi
Yesterday i ordered my motorola moto plus 5g and i recieved it today. Overal i am very happy about it but i have a question. Is it normal for the Finger print sensor/ on/off button to be just a little bit loose? It can move maybe 1 of 1.5mm. I think it is because there is also a function to open a shortcut menu by tapping it twice but i am not sure and i need confirmation.
If it's not normal i can still return the item :)

Got the Moto G 5g Plus (128gb) on Vodafone UK (Voxi) for £309 back in August. Overall I am super impressed, this phone has similar/better specs to the Nord, Pixel 4a 5g, Nokia 8.3 5g but for way less.. Only worry was software updates, but just got the September security patch (27th Oct) so they seem to be trying to keep up..
Battery life is amazing (can make 2 days during lockdown), love the 90hz refresh and large screen, although not a small phone has been quite comfortable. Have a screen protector + case so no issues with screen / scratches yet. Also 765 is a very capable chip - not seeing any slowdowns yet.

MOTTO phones are good phones.....Opinions are based on user experience.......My Moto G8 is a work of art....Never a problem

I don't care what spec moto put in their phones, in my area I have had nothing but grief with updates from all my moto phones, right from moto g2 and upwards to only a few years ago.
I wouldn't go near them ever again, as updates are important to me,
Not OS updates so much , but security ones for sure are important...I think security patches should be for at least 3-4 regardless of brand

ongoing interference since day one. Seller just agreed to refund if I returned the phone. Good riddance!

Pointless sending it in for repair if the update doesn't even exist yet? He said the reason we don't have the 5g option is because we all need the September update?

I called Motorola support and they said theirs a problem with my phone getting updates and I know need too send it for repair as the September update gives you the 5g function????
