I have lineage os 18.1 and I can confirm its smoother and has more features also after installing lineage os the wireless display that was disabled in stock rom will work and a LED at middle of left half of top of the phone will lit and so you have a notification led that you don't have before and you can change its brightness !!! fu*k stock ROM

John, 18 Apr 2022Seriously? Where can I read about it?Checkout their forums. An official mod/dev there stated they will only provide 1 major os upgrade eg. onbox Android 10 - 11. No more than that, everything else will only be regular security/stability updates.

I have a contract wiht A1 Bulgaria, but also have as second SIM (from my work) Vivacom. On both carries Moto 5G works great in 5G mode! But neither of them-A1 and Vivacom does not have my phone in their list ot certified device. Its funy but it works at all. On Yettel(former Telenenor and Cosmote BG) phne work too in 5G. But you have to be only in contract (not prepaid SIM) and it will work.In the begining fo 5G in Bulgaria -all of the carriers require an extra pay to change your plan with 5G plan.But now only A1 requeres that. Vivacom an Yettel gives you a free acces to their 5G for all plans wiht 2 yeras of contract. In Greece Moto will work for sure with Vodafone GR- a know this beacause i have a SIm from Vodafone UK and there is a 5G option in the Netwirsk settings.
If you can see that option ypu can try this: *#*#4636#*#* an when a new menu appear you msu t go to : Phone information and the :Set Prefered Network type- her you ca should select: NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA. And now 5G will work now, and you must see 5G icon (not 4G+ only).

Juan Enrico, 04 Apr 2022What 5G issue? I have recently bought this phone this week.The 5G issue was(inpast 2 yeras) that the phone cant get 5G conection on omost of the carriers. Device showed only 2G/3G/4G setting in the network type, but not 5G.As the result
the phone can not operate in 5G mode even that is fully support by the hardware.
But all of this is solved now- after the update form 1 Januari 2022, and now Moto 5G Plus is working with over 90% ot wolrd wide carriers in their 5G networks. I hope this information is useful. Overall Moto 5G plus is awesome phone foe me- 2 years of use without any problems- fast and realble device for its price.Now i can switvh 5 G netoworsk for both my SIm cards- A1 Bulgaria and Vivacom. And i get 1-1,5 Gbits of speed without problem here in Bulgaria and in roaming in EU too.

The 5G issue with some network now is solved after the last 2 updates since 01.2022.
Never had any lags or bugs. Must say that thisi is middle range device not cheep- it cost more than 400 Euros(refered to dec 2020 in EU).The 5G signal ive tested on A1 Bulgaria and also for Vivacom is strong (over 90% of bars). So the issues you wrote seems very strange for me. It looks like we tallk to a different phone model not for Moto 5G plus.

Bluetooth is pathetic, Motorola couldn't repair it under the warranty.Weak 5G.Bad sound quality in every possible way you can imagine or connect the phone.
But it has SD card slot, lovely.
3.5mm Jack is weak,but it still has it.
Good battery.
Nice to have big screen.
Good cameras, enjoying both selfie cameras.
Really good night mode cameras.
I really like finger print sensor on the power button,to me it's the best place.
Great budget phone,but this is my last budget phone, previously I had Moto Droid Turbo 2 and it was brilliant in every way,had it for 5yeatrs,worked like new even with 500mb free space combined with full SD card :D

BoB, 16 Jan 2022Only one Android update? Not two-year-old?yeah, ever since Lenovo took over. Software upgrade/update got reduced. Eitherway the build quality is still there & their os has no bloatware or close to stock android so thats a plus.

This phone screen quality is very bad. Even if i change the colors not help. It gives me terrible eye pain after a few minutes. Colors are not sharp. I have the same experience with other new lcd phones. These days maybe they use low quality displays. I can use Motorola G9 plus and Xiaomi mi a2 lite without problems. Older phones have better quality!
