Overall for the price it is a good phone. The only drawback I have found is the sd card. It will not let you put apps on it only photos and such. As someone stated in another post, they should have came out with a bigger internal memory. Going to find a way to force apps to the sd card to free up internal memory.

      Great phone for $250. Its selling point is its battery. It will fully charge in around 3 hours from dead. The battery will last 2 days with use. It has the battery size every phone on the market should have! The only flaw is it is not removable. The screen is clear and bright. Yeah flagships have 4k screens but that does not make them any clearer. They are only 6.4 inches. You don't need 4k on a 6 inch screen. The 665 is a midrange chip and is probably more than most need. Phone CPUs have gotten to the stage where most people will not see a difference in a midrange and high end because they never tax the cpu. It came with 64gb of storage which is on the low side. There should have been a 128gb option. That can be fixed by adding an SD card. The camera is fine for a phone camera. I have high end SLR if I want studio quality prints. My Wifes S9 camera is not any better that the G power (she was really disappointed in the s9). The big surprise I had was the speakers. I have yet to find a phone that I would want to listen to music via the built in speakers. High end Apple and samsung speakers are terrible at best. I think the G power sounds great for a phone. The middle to the highs are were they should be. The base is just average. Way better than my son's Iphone X which is just tinny all around.

          And...when you go to Motorola's website... The G8s
          are nowhere to be found 🤯... All they have on the website is the G Power and the older G7 models.

          Right now, I have a Moto G8 Plus...so....where did it come from???🤔

              I have the phone myself and it doesn't feel like metal but, Motorola's website specifies the frame being made of aluminum. Maybe, Motorola put an extra coating on it? Regardless, this phone is excellent and a good upgrade over last year's G7 Power. They hit it out of the park with this one.

                  The specs listed on gsmarena say the frame is aluminum, Motorola's website also says it's aluminum. but none of the reviewers I watched that had a review unit ever mentioned the build quality. So is it actually aluminum?

                      Turbo charging: because the battery is large, it can accept more current than a small battery. So, in a short charge time you get more use time. Though it will still take 3 hours for a full charge like everyone else's Lithium-ion batteries.

                        You might be able to use a faster charger but that doesn't mean it is charging any faster.

                        The global version "G8 Power" comes with a 15w charger.

                            Just got the new Motor G Power and yes, to my surprise, it does support turbo charging. I use the charging brick from my Moto G4 Plus. The phone operates very smooth and the camera is better than I expected, bet $225 I've spent Inna long time.

                                Very decent budget phone, it does support tubro charging to all i did was use my G7 Power charger and it works just fine. Very fast charging

                                    This phone would've been the perfect budget phone if it came with sd712 or 730g. There would be nothing I could ask for more for the price but sd665 is bit outdated n doesn't stack well for the competition with other phones

                                        Anonymous, 29 Mar 2020It has not even been released you liarI have this phone. April 16 2020 (bought at best buy for 250 USD/FRN). pretty decent. camera is a bit slow and pictures tend to the blurry side and has some focus issues.

                                        its not a google or apple leval camera but its ok for the price point.
