Piece of crap. Don't buy it. My phone is about 6 months old and it drops calls all the time. Also it had a MAJOR software melt down... overall it is the worst phone I have ever owned!

Needed a back-up for wife. On sale from hsn for 99 plus free tracfone time. Have used moto before pretty solid, awaiting delivery. I will miss NFC. I like the size and capacity for the price plus stylus.

I received my Motorola G stylus phone in January/2022. This was a good phone. Until I saw a small crack on the tip of the screen. Don't know how it happened. Now it has crack going straight across the screen. This phone screen is very fragile. So b very gentle with it. I wouldn't buy another Motorola G stylus phone.

I got a free Moto G Stylus when I re-signed with boost and is is a great phone
I like being able to disable automatic updates.
(Ever since I have had updates disable or delete certain programs such as RealPlayer, Microsoft office, and others, I realized nothing is "free" and updates are not for our benefit, but theirs. Therefore I haven't updated my computers or phone in years and never had problems since)
The 4000mAh battery drains fast, but that could be due to lots of apps.
Battery drain got better when I removed the half full128gb micro SD card
I like Motorola androids best and will probably get the G Power next since I never use the stylus
The area the stylus uses reduces battery size by 1000mAh so I carry an external 7400mAh battery pack just in case
Moto G Power have a 5000 mAh battery
Never trust eBay 1,000,000mAh batteries, I bought one and it's really 7400mAh

Had the phone for 6 months. Loved it, except for lack of NFC. I got over it. But over time, it would have a hard time charging. I tried different cables, it always slowly charged. Then any cable I used would not stay in the port. It would always pop off. Had to literally push the charging cable in and hold it for it to charge. Who has time for that? I almost upgraded to the 5G model, but didn't want to risk the same thing possibly happening if it was a design flaw, and would have wasted money.

I bought this phone to replace a Samsung S10 that broke on vacation, and I needed something to get connected again until I figured out what to do. It was actually a really good phone. Software was clean and fast, the stylus was OK, but what I expect from Motorola or LG. The camera was OK, not bad, but coming from a Samsung had a lot to be desired.
The problem: two months after I bought the phone (that lived it's entire life in a supcase and was not dropped or abused) it cut off mid call and became unresponsive. I could connect it to the Bluetooth in my car and receive a call but it would cut out after three seconds. Sent it back to Warranty with Motorola and they denied the claim. In fact, they were the least helpful warranty or RMA department I've dealt with in the last 20 years. I will NEVER buy another Motorola device. If I paid $100 for it I would walk away and not worry about it. But at half the cost of a Samsung S20 FE. That's pitiful. Be warned if you get hardware with issues from the factory that Motorola WILL NOT help you. Literally throwing money out the window.
I've had Motorola's since the bag phone days. Sad to see a company that once upon a time make a good product to stoop to the level they are now.

I have had several models of Motorola phones over the years starting with the very first razor some I can't remember but my favorites were the Droid turbo 2 and the G power I'm still getting familiar with the stylus but I can't complain about anything so far and I will continue to be a loyal customer to my favorite brand

I've had the moto g stylus 2021 since September, and I don't have any problems, it works fantastic in all honesty, maybe those that've had problems just bought a badly manufactured phone or something. mines is through straight talk, which I read the reviews on it, was hesitant about buying it. but I needed a new phone, I wanted a bigger display. so I went to Walmart and bought one. and to be quite frank, I love this phone, not disappointed with it yet.

I wasn't very impressed with the Stylus model this year. Compared to previous years, it doesn't feel like Motorola did much to improve the phone over last year's model. That coupled with a clunkier feel to the UI this year left me feeling rather disappointed. It was nice to get updated to Android 11 before the Moto One 5G Ace. The new OS felt somewhat slow, though, and it made playing around in it a bit tedious. If I had to guess, I'd say it's because the phone lacks the resources to run smoothly with all of Android 11's bells and whistles activated.
I will say, though, the stylus and Motorola's suite of dedicated apps for it are a fun gimmick. It's even quite useful if you're prone to forgetting things like me. It's still not a smart stylus, however. So, the stylus really doesn't serve as more than a quick, fine tipped input device. It's more or less a more precise extension of your finger.
I'd give this phone 2.5 out of 5 stars. It's essentially a free phone when you switch with most carriers. So, don't expect too much.

I have this phone for a few months now.....
My only problem with it is not being able to have a working HotSpot..
All other devices will find the hotspot however no internet.
It has to be a device issue since sim card will work in other phones with hotspot working without any issues...
Using external programs constantly disconnects, I haven't found a good program yet...
If anyone has figured out a fix, please let me know.
