    Nerdy stuff there :

Intel had problems with EUV etching for a long time . They never figured out to make it work for all the layers. It's not cisc for a long time, it's decoded, kind of intermediate. The debate risc-cisc makes not much sense to me nowadays, as arm got complex instruction too, and both turned superscalar decades ago. Sure intel has its huge legacy, like, they removed the hyperthreading in lunar lakes to get rid of it a bit.

About Windows arm, it seems to have got a big leap this year. still,I read some portions of windows ( some old .sys ?) go through emulation, which is a bummer. I remember mac switching m1 emulation was quite poor despite all the claims ( I'm using daw audio software for fun and emulation was unusbale). It was just easier and got more attention from devs to compile to arm.

My argument about that if is arm was that good, datacenters would have switched to arm as they don't care windows or even pc, but they care about heat and their power bill, and high throughput a lot. can't wait those arrow/lunar lane, if they keep promise this year otherwise yes the future might be full arm...

My wife and I both have this phone for over a month now and it is pretty snappy never had seen any lag. It can update 3 apps simultaneously when there are multiple apps need to be updated in the Google Play store.

It you haven't seen the news on Intel, its flagship gen 14th i9 is a debacle with stability problem no real fix in sight from Intel. OEM motherboard manufacturers ended up releasing bios updates to slow down the clock speed and thus the chip is not performing.

Windows OEMs are now starting to switch to Qualcomm processor because of performance and battery life. Microsoft is switching their surface pro to use Snapdragon processor.

At some point you can only cramp so many transistors in a cisc processor and not as efficient as a risc processor both in thermal and power consumption and processing power. Not to mention the number of cpu states to test in cisc processor become too many.

        Samsung exoshyte process. Sad.
It looked awesome until I discovered that, tne 6gen1 processor in done by Samsung.
They never catch up, and for now I guess they never will. Even Intel switched to TSMC !!!
Don't know what going on in those fabs. Maybe TSMC hold by secret alien nerds ? :)

Still a usable phone probably but many quirks blirps hitch hick and toaster drain are expected.

It's not just gsmarena it's all websites shows FHD Not 4K. I myself have it on my hand and only FHd. I have the power 5g 2024 I think I shouldn't upgrade it to this anyway.

If you really has the phone you will see on the camera video screen setting across the top, it shows FHD but if you click on FHD then it will change to 4K. It's not first time GSM Arena did not update the specs using pre-release specs on their website and so are other sites. Motorola did not publish all the specs on this phone like it never mentioned it has FM radio.

I bought bought two of them unlocked version back in August directly from Motorola, one for myself and one for my wife. Unless you have a dud or maybe the carrier locked version with less ram and memory may have 4K disabled, I have no idea.

O and one more thing. I've noticed a lot of phone manufacturers have a pre-installed program running, that allows companies to promote their apps. Which should not be legal really, but laws did not catch up yet. Research... It is called a "Mobile Services Manager" or a variation off that name. Just disable it and live happy. I've done it on my other phones - with no issues; and no junk apps installing.
