Heating of phones is something everyone complains, which in fact is warming NOT HEATING.
So called heating usually happens while :
* using phone when it is still plugged in for charging
* using demanding apps and graphic intensive games beyond the limits of processor to handle
Agreed there are few units which may have genuine problems, but that doesn't mean all handsets will have same problem.
I have used phones like moto g, moto e, xiaomi redmi 1s but never had any such so called heating problem.
I owned moto x as my business phone and currently I m using BlackBerry Q5 for same.even tthese sometimes warm a bit if I use it while plugged in for charge.
I think heating matter should not be exaggerated

Not much heating issue except when you are using 4G or WiFi or both for long durations........

Hi. I am confused between Moto G3 and Moto G turbo. Turbo has a better performance. But i heard there are some over heating issues with the turbo, is it true?

If 615 chip is heating up the xynos chip can be useful to reduce heating issues.Let's wait for the complete review for better results.

This phone has TFT LCD display and not IPS LCD.
Moto G3 has IPS LCD.
Any idea why they did it ? What's the difference ? Which one is better display ?

I bought this on the launch day and got it delivered today. The phone is faster than the g3! But it heats a lot. Temperature goes more than 54 degrees and its terribly hot. You can feel the ears burning literally. I compared my friends Xperia M4 aqua ,but I found it to be relatively cooler and lag free. But this moto g3 turbo heats and then there is lag. Phone stutters and lags till you keep it idle for the heat to reduce. During the heating period battery drains like a open tap! I've wasted 14500 bucks on this... Could have bought the Sony M4 ! I request all fellow users to kindly rethink before buying this phone. Earlier G3 was good. Screen just becomes so hot and the touch becomes less responsive. Two of my friends who got the phone this evening have experienced severe heating issues, touch response issues when hot, like me...
