    Shifted to this phone from moto x2. That phone was already running marshmallow. The phone was really smooth. Expected same from maxx. But dissappointing the phone not getting update. Rest excellent phone.

            This phone is terrific. I can easily say it is the best from its generation and the next one. Phones with snapdragon 808/810 didnt offer anything new but a higher price. Performance wise you cant tell the difference between a 805 and a 810 (heck, to the final user anything from 800 and above is the same). The battery is terrific, GPS signal also great and Motorola's touch to android actually improves it. Buy this shit if you can.

            BTW, Marshmallow already out.

              Specs are incomplete. This phone has LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 17. Motorola later admitted LTE band 5 when the XT1225 was released in India.

              Also, there's a U.S. Moto Maxx XT1250, which has the exact same specs, exact same FCC ID as the Droid Turbo XT1254.

              There are two Quark phones, two FCC IDs with three model names:

              * XT1225 Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo
              * XT1254 Droid Turbo/XT1250 Moto Maxx

                i dont understand either, very worried 6.0 will just be be scrapped. however will hang on a little longer seeing as have already waiting months for it. love this phone. has everything and more. only missing finger print reader and yet there has been no other advances really to the phone world. dont like the new versions to fat and oversized. fingers crossed its updated. keep following the news on this but seems always a load of b s.

                    I have a few questions:
                    1. Is it still worth my money?
                    2. Where do I buy it in Europe (Germany)?
                    3. Does LTE work on European bands?
                    4. On which Android version does it run currently?

                    And I guess the KitKat capacitive keys don't look that good on Android L or M...

                          Moin, 18 Feb 2016Can anyone tell me how Moto Maxx differ from Droid Turbo? B... moreDroid Turbo (XT1224) and Moto Maxx (XT1225) support different Bands.
                          Turbo has CDMA and Verizon Bands, Maxx international/GSM UMTS Bands: http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/help/flashing-xt1255-rom-xt1254-t3299246

                          Also it seems, that you can't unlock the bootloader or root a Droid Turbo. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/general/guide-droid-turbo-moto-maxx-carrier-t3044609

                                    I came from Lg g3 which I have been using for last one and half years. This is a truly grateful phone. The design is cool that stand apart from Samsung stereotypes. The screen is good. The camera is also good but only problem is compared to other phones its a bit laggy. From the lock screen we can see upto 4 notifications by waving hand our hand over the screen without touching it. That is a very cool feature that I found very practical in every day use. Overall I am impressed

                                      I am only getting 4 hours of screen on time and 24-28hr run time. Is this normal?

                                        really good phone, got this for 240$ 64GB(new open box). Reviewers say that the camera is weak, but its actually good, I compared it with s6 edge .
