everyone with the negative comments on the specs and comparing to the xperia z ultra 1. its a midrange phone there not claiming it to be a flagship and its not a phablet 2. for $300 how the hell can you complain about the specs , this will be scoring 9k in quadrant and a easy 18k in antutu , not to mention having a pretty great camera if they can actually record 1080p at 60fps , good jog google/motorola

AnonD-168908, 26 Jul 2013pricing rumors seem: reasonable with 300 dollars from the 1... morepricing rumour doesn't fit that spec, look at htc one mini its spec is not even up to motox n its gadam xpisive.

I find a mobile phone with a screen past 4 inches too big, the bezel on this model helps but still too big.

If the price is right this might be a great phone though. Not going to be sold in my country though. Sadly Motorola phones are not sold here.

AnonD-90736, 25 Jul 2013What a joke, everyone calling this a game changer, the Sony... moreNote 3 is better, I dare to tell this, even if it's not announced yet! :P Xperia Z Ultra is too big, and it lacks an LED Flash.

This is the phone we all should buy, to show everybody else how the things have to be done.

pricing rumors seem: reasonable with 300 dollars from the 16 gb model and 350 for the 32 gb model (without contract). Nowadays people are making phones bigger and bigger but it seems to me that this phone is going to feel just good in the pocket.
So not too big and neither too expensive with a great interface... Whats not to like? apart from the rumors that said incredible features would come to the phone but you just end up with a well- specced mid-range phone.
I'll admit i was expecting a bit more but at this price this is an interesting device.

AnonD-90736, 25 Jul 2013What a joke, everyone calling this a game changer, the Sony... moreYou're comparing oranges and apples. Xperia Z Ultra is a high-end phablet (costing 700 EUR), while Moto X is going to be a mid-end smartphone (will cost around 300 EUR). Why do you need a 2.2GHz quad-core processor? The only thing that comes to my mind is playing games, but if you want to play games buy a computer or a console, not a phone.

What a joke, everyone calling this a game changer, the Sony Z Ultra, now that's a game changer, how can this moto X be a game changer, same size as last years, same specs as last years, I'm sorry but this is a real fail. The Sony Z Ultra is guaranteed to be the phone of 2013 so please all of you here, don't bother talking this boring Moto X up, it won't make any difference.

Too late and so yesterday spec. I have RAZR and I bought it more because of its design. But after the acquired by Google the design become soooo boring, it's Samsung alike.

Motorola has breakthrough concept and design, but it's only for once or twice. And when the idea was succeeded, they will be "trapped" in that idea for so long until the idea become so outdated.

Will it have MicroSD Card slot? According to GSMarena's specs, it has.
