John, 16 Aug 2022Just because youre not using it doesnt mean other buyers ar... moreOh man still every phone can sustain few rain drops even old mnokia of the old times 3310 could be washed in a pool of mud swamp water and survived perfectly and had no IP resistance at all.
For any other reason i rather trust a waterproof case than an IPXX resistance where no manufacturer can guarantee or give you a water damage warranty.
Here in Slovakia we dont have as much rain as you but when raining sometimes towns and willages are flooded by water for week.
But any waterproof case is enough. No need for costly gimmick called IPXX resistance where no manufacturer can guarantee you a waterdamage warranty to your phone.

I go to work using a motorcycle. In my country it rains a lot.
Ive been soaking wet too many times to count.
Ive dropped my galaxy s5, galaxy s7 edge, lg v50 thinq into puddles by accident
Ive taken pictures underwater using my galaxy s7 edge by pressing the volume keys. I would have never bought the LG V50 if not for having cracked my s7 edge on the edge when i was sitting down on my hardwood armchair.
Noticed the long periods between my "upgrades"?
My galaxy s5 is still alive but its too slow now.
Ive used my, S5, s7 edge and the lg v50 to navigate under strong rain on my bike.
All my phones have to be water resistant to last and i see other people needing the water resistance. Its why i picked the lg v50 over the poco f3 inspite of the poco's better specs. My phones have to go under the rain from time to time not because i want to but im forced to rely on them during the rain.

we have a lot of great phones offered to buy in 450-550$ range. from reviews here and there, for camera,z40s pro & x30 pro are the winners. in getting higher ram&storage with budget price plus getting more updates life, oneplus wins. for battery life,realme gt2 series and nubia are the better ones.

It seems to use the 200 MPX/OIS sensor to do that. It might explain why they put only a 2x telephoto without OIS, BUT WITH F/1.6 APERTURE (200 mpx have f/2.0): To use as a portrait camera, and the main lens to Zoom. Quircky but works.

For zooming up to 100x it uses the main sensor and gives a pretty capable results, there are already comparison videos with the S22 ultra in zoom. The 2X Tele remains to portrait-use, because of its f/1.6 aperture, superior by the f/2.0 in the main sensor.
