We co... moreAmong the phones you listed, one is a one and a half year old flagship phone, the others are phones with dodgy manufacturers that will provide limited user service (OP), or manufacturers with not the best track record for updates (Huawei). The latter also suffer from having a bloated OS.

These are things you cannot overlook when buying a phone.

Indian competition ready with mi A1

I just picked up a new Moto G5 Plus and now this X4 is coming out. I can still return G5+ for full refund but not sure this X4 is worth the cost (about double the G5+).
      X4 has better
      .../ac wifi
      10% better CPU +1Gig ROM
      Water proof
      Alexa
I'm not into photos so much better camera not a big deal for me.
Looks like from Moto official site X4 doesn't have the FM radio the G5+ does.

I dont take only bevause of 68 % screen to bidy ratio. Motorola once famous in smallest bazzels is now making largest bazzel phones. I m a moto lover. But after moto x pure no minimum bazle phone. This is last hope. Now i think its time to leave moto. Sadly.

It seems to have 4/64 memory at least on Europe.

          From Motorola Italiy:
          Memoria (RAM)
          4 GB
          Memoria (ROM)
64GB con supporto per scheda microSD (fino a 2 TB)‡

We compare this phone to phones with similar prices. For the same price you can get better phones from bigger brands with better specs. Lets check p9, s7, honor 9, OP. In what aspect moto x4 is better (except ip protection and probably fast charging).. ? Maybe processor, camera, warranty duration, body ratio or what ?
For mid range phone specs are perferct, but price of mid range phone should be lower than last year top smartphones.

                      I respect Lenovo as a brand,and this Moto X4 is another good phone in their line up.But 400euro for it?For that price-Oneplus 5,Xiaomi Mi6,LG G6/V20,Huawei Mate 9,Honor 9,Samsung S7 even,and all of them (way)better..Lenovo,some price correction needed..

This is on my list of possible next phones BECAUSE it has a SD630. My current device has a SD625 (Lenovo P2) and believe me, battery life is addictive. OK this has a "normal" capacity 3000mAh battery but the SD630 will be even more efficient than ever before meaning it will get through a day no problem. Add in all the other improvements to modems and isp and you don't need anything more. In fact I wouldn't buy anything else than a device with a SD630.

people capture images from rear camera so rear camera should be 16 mp dual camera and front 13mp is enough for selfie.

Phone specs seem very compelling and interesting. And it looks like Lenovo-Moto seemingly got the hardware right. And if they can also nail it with a price tag of €399/£349 then they have a real winner. if only they can commit to faster updates for 7.1.1 and to 8.0. But one thing I noticed it has a magnetometer but again no compass. But, are they the same or function the same?

A lot is being made of CPUs these days, and how many midrangers aren't equipped with top of the line CPUs. I don't see the problem here. If you check reviews, even the 625 can run most demanding games with all graphical options set to the maximum. Moreover, having a 625-630 chipset will help improve battery life.

I would much rather have a bigger battery, a better/more compact build or a better camera, than a better processor, as long as we're talking 625 or better. Obviously, the 4xx line is not ideal, since many smartphones equipped with it don't run android smoothly. But anything equal or better than the 625 line is more than sufficient, especially if we are talking about lower resolution phones.
