My XT1900-7 Moto X4 is perfectly updated to Android 9 and with the last security patch of March 2019. In addition, there are no reboots and no failures so friend, tell your recipe to another friend of you.

moto g5 plus received no patch since dec 2018
moto x4 is running on march patch
no added features

mike, 16 May 2019so the whole point is moto is crap when it comes to updatesI'm in the USA and on AT&T and have NO issues. The updates come in quickly.

I think update are a two point issue.
First it can depend on what country you're in. It seems that moto releases to India first then USA and on from there. Next it also depends on your carrier. Some are much slower than others with Moto rollouts.

I have Android 9 update and march 2019 security patch on my X4, and it's a XT1900-7 device.
No issues, no problems, no reboots ...

najib, 02 Apr 2019how was the sound system on moto x4?Volume is good, quality is also good. Only the one speaker so no stereo separation ( which is not an issue in a small device). The audio headphone jack sounds good as well and does do stereo.
