moto releasing flop mobiles these days
too expensive n not worth buying

    Moto x4 good phone , Display - vibrant ,puchy, crisp. Sharper ( not accurate colour reproduction)
    Just like amlod , Sound - ( watching movie) - very good not exilent. Design - very good , call qwality - good
    Performance - very good , batey - very good
    CAMRA - very good. Daylight , night shot - ok , better back camra Moto X 4 ( daylight) , vivo v9 , redmi note 5 pro , Mi A1 , brand is brand

Is there a difference between th... moreThe difference from Android One version is custom Moto apps: Moto Display, Moto Camera, Moto Actions with fingerprint button navigation. Those apps are pretty useful, Android One users complain that they don't have them (not sure if it's possible to install them).
      Although Moto Actions quickly drain the battery in standby mode: I had to disable it to get decent battery life and have to live without "chop-chop flashlight" and "twist camera". Fingerprint navigation still works though, but not the Night Display, surprisingly.
      Another surprise that Moto Display is very savvy. But Moto Camera is just the opposite and will drain full battery in 4 hours. As well as other apps using Camera, including different video chats. Unfortunately for me, I use those a lot.

        If G7 Plus have SD660 then it can create buzz in market

        But I am sad that there is no more Moto X series.
        RIP to X series due to Lenovo

              X4 maybe get Android Q update ??

              Its hardware is quite enough and G7 is not better than X4.

                X4 with 32 and 3 is now $149 at B&H $199 for the 64/4 that makes is very compelling. Most folks in US are getting updated to 9 when firing up phone new.

                  Moto X4 4th generation has inbuilt integration with Amazon Alexa which is not in X4 Android One.

                  There is not major difference in UI both are clean STOCK Android. X4 Android One is available with Project Fi. Both are on now Android 9(It may be last because Moto X4 was launched with Android 7).

                  Frank opinion Moto X4 is now older device better go with new device. I think if you really want to but Motorola better go with brand new G7 series. Especially G7 Plus because it has 27W Turbopower charger and Camera with OIS which is very rare with midrange device.

                  X4 rare feature are IP68 Water-Dust resistant, 4 bluetooth devices connectivity at one time, metal-glass design,type-c, fast-charging(15W).

                  I am using moto X4(6+ 64) in India from last 1 year I never faced any problem except slow update. But speaker quality is not good because ear-piece is itself speaker.

                  Better go with brand new G7 series or upcoming Z series. Because X4 may not get Android 10 or further.

It is a very bare bones Android. I got the normal model when it first came out in the USA and love it, I put a TPU cover on it as the glass back is slippery and to protect it. The current prices look GREAT.

                      1. Is there a difference between the X4 4th generation and X4 Android One?
                      2. If there is, which is better and why?
                      3. I am interested in getting two (2) X4's (1 for me and 1 for my daughter) and I have researched it to death, and I'm still confused. All I know is that it MUST be MOTOROLA, is there a better MOTOROLA than the X4?

                        Let me say that people who handle a phone like the X4 you are referring to are a bit clumsy. I have mobile phones since 2001 and none of them have ever fallen or broken. It is necessary to make a correct manipulation of certain devices and not treat them as if they were bricks to build houses.

                          there are brightness issues with moto x4
                          its pathetic.so low
                          i have asus max m1 pro.it has superb brightness even in sunlight

                            apart from this lenovo has ruined moto

                            g7 series still on snapdragon 636

                              I remember very well that I gave you a direct link to X4 reviews last month. Not mentioning multiple review references just on this page. Are you under some corporate ethics obligations not to read those? I'll do it for you then, no hay problema:

                              G6: "The glass-back shattered into pieces in spite of having protecting back-cover.I had the phone in my pocket", "Back glass cracked and phone bent in my front pocket while sitting at my desk", "2 months before cracking the screen ... I had it in my pocket with a case", "With acase on twice now it's cracked the back of it. In my pocket.", ...
                              Z3: "the day after I got this phone the back which is I guess glass cracked all of a sudden", "both phones that we bought had their screens crack, in less than 10 days. Both phones had cases and screen protectors on", "I had the phone for two days before the screen shattered", ...

                                        But I would recommend anyone to stay away from Motorola phones from any niche for at least one generation:
                                        They started to produce this low quality fragile junk that breaks within weeks. My X4 cracked within days - being in a pocket, in a protective case. So IP68 went down the crack.
                                        Read G6 and Z3 reviews: everyone is complaining about the same thing (in addition to bad reception for G6 and bad battery for Z3). And Motorola doesn't repair their phones: they expect you to pay for replacement - just to get the same fragile cr..!
                                        Thinking about resurrecting my broken G3, on a pet cemetery or wherever...
