AnonD-792345, 02 Nov 2022This is a clear downgrade from Motorola X30 Pro.But that's not what it's trying to compete with. Moto x30 pro is a more premium, more expensive phone. Moto x30 pro is part of the pro lineup, while the x40 isn't.

As long as no company will gives you a water damage warranty you get nothing but a costly gimmick not worth to have.
Buy water proof case from Alliexpress for example is cheaper and better than a costly water resistance gimmick where no company will guarantee you it will protect your phone from water damage.

Finally another phone with under display camera. Hopefully this one will be available worldwide. Though I really hope that screen is not curved.
