How many people are actually willing to pay nearly a 500 USD difference for the small changes that some AI constantly running in the background, can actually provide? The battery could have likely been a bit larger, maybe even 4800mah and still have space for features like expandable storage. The raw hardware in this phone was never worth 1000 bucks. The AI shoveling that every company is doing, is just nothing but another marketing gimmick for now.

            If decent LLMs take a decent time to run locally on a 300+ watt dGPU on a PC, then this tech is not ready for a sub 25 watt SoC in a phone. Do you really want a mostly useless piece of software constantly pulling power from your already smallish battery for a 1000 dollar phone, or live without mostly useless features for half the price? Especially considering we will see a return to user replaceable batteries in a few years, due to the EU regulations.

                                  Why would they use an 8S version of a Snapdragon CPU for "Ultra" device is a bit strange...

                                    So whats the difference between X50 Ultra and Edge 50 Ultra again apart naming???

                                      They need to put the snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in a phone not the 8s gen 3

                                        lets see the american verison, hopefully it will have flat screen, 5000mah, and full 8 gen 3.
