AnonD-303670, 07 Sep 2014No memory card slot provided why ???Motorola is still a stubborn company. They don't want to listen to customers. They just put bullets in there head. I was planning to buy. Now forget about it.

Why are the phones getting better and bigger and batteries smaller?

Is the technology really improving or the companies want us to start using Power banks/portable chargers too now made by them or their so called competitors?

Smartphones getting bigger. Battery not getting bigger. Logical thinking.

indian dude, 06 Sep 2014Having a Note-3, after using the moto-e as my second phone.... moreOne thing is certain. Motorola will not be able to compete with the likes of Samsung and LG with this device. Motorola smart phones should be the best or among the best in the world. Motorola introduces the first mobile phone. Now they are weak. I wonder what the future holds for them.

Motorola has been working with batteries for years, thats how t6hey got the Maxx to last 48 hours. The 2013 moto x also lasted ages with a 2200 mAh battery.

5.2" screen is too big for me. I prefer the 4.7" screen on my HTC one m7. I do not want anything bigger. I see no use for it. Big screen is a deal breaker for me. Bigger screen means more battery drain because the graphics engine needs to work harder due to higher resolution unless optimized. Even then... I don't need a huge screen to text and watch a few videos while I sit idle... That's what a TV is for.

However it's more the display than the camera which is kinda bugging me.

A phone with beefy hardware means nothing if the software is buggy and not optimized.
