Is d... moreI have been using this awesome.phone fom 2months.till date I did not face any heating issues.rear camera is awesome.people who are complaining about camera should first learn how to use moto camera.most of them don't know how to focus an object in moto.that makes a difference in picture quality.focus and click and then say me whether you are seeing grains and all.
Display clarity and touch are the two main features I love in moto x play.its display clarity while seeing a HD video makes you feel that you are using a premium phone.
It's touch is awesome.I have seen many premium mobile like one plus.nexus 6.but I did not feel it when I used the.
Obviously sound clarity is awesome.
As said there is a lag when atleast 15 to 20 apps are opened in background.
It is not a problem at all.we have an option to close them in our hands.we van do that insteadbecause every mobile had it.

Clash of Phones, 06 Dec 2015I have ordered Moto x2 32GB for Rs 17999 from flipkart even... moreMoto X Play having SD 615 Octacore Processor but Its a 64 Bit Prosessor and Moto X 2 having only 32 Bit dated chipset.Moto X Play Battry backup is very very good in compare to Moto X2 but Moto X2 comes with Quick Charger and we have to buy Quick Charger if we bought Moto X Play. Moto X Play will support Quick charging feature but comes with the normal charger.

I bought this phone on Oct-15. For one month, this phone worked fine. Camera was good and all things worked fine. But a few days back, phone gets restarted again and again. Sometimes 10-15 times in a day. After every restart some data loss happens. I am fed up with this phone. Every time you connect USB to transfer data, you cannot transfer data as it continues restarting. I took it to Service centre. They put new software but same issues pertains. It's really irritating..

i m moto x play user, but its camera is not that much good as expected. Is there any chance that i got handled a defective piece?? Should i go for replacement.?

I have ordered Moto x2 32GB for Rs 17999 from flipkart even though I could have bought Moto X Play for the same price. I preferred Quadcore X2 for many reasons over the Octacore X play. Mainly this is ex- flagship model of Moto and they are not going to go low on it. X Play has Snappy 615 - 1.7 Ghz Octacore while X2 has snappy 801 - 2.5 Ghz quadcore. The result is like 8 strong donkeys vs 4 strong elephants. I like elephants btr. (Dont fight over it guys. Thats why Snap Dragon 801 supports 4K while Snappy 615 does not.)
Also the AMOLED vs IPS LCD. Admitting the fact that both the cameras are not good, I left that out.
I always like a small phone with BIG dispaly (5.2 inch, 420 ppi) than a BIG phone with BIGGER display (5.5inch.. 401 PPI) of same resolution. Read that our eyes' capacity is 360 ppi. making PPI irrelevant.
Main advantage of X play is that it has a dual Sim. so a person using 2 sim can prefer x play but a person using 2 whatsapp accounts will need 2 phones(like me).
Another thing is X Play has expandable memory which gives a bigger room. Well.. that is a loss for my 32 GB X2, but... who all buys a 64gb memory card?? Well... I bought a 16 GB USB 3.0 pendrive OTG which has dual head.. one for computer and another for mobile USB for Rs 522. Happy... Richer people can buy 64 GB of the same. For me X Play failed due to very low powered 615 which brutally failed before Lenovo K3 Note having a mediatech chip and almost same features for Rs 8000 less... (I am not supporting K3 note)

I brought moto x play few weeks ago.
Everything is good but it get geated very fast. So I requested a replacement. The flipkart provided a new one. But it faces the same issue. Now I have requested return and refund. They have approved it. Feels very because it is nice phine apart from heating.

the only 3 thing that makes this phone not so great is that stupid google bar crap, the other thing is there's no feature that i can adjust the phone number viewed or hidden from every body, and the last, i shouldn't have to go to the dumb ass google store to get all the apps and games i already have on my sd card but it won't access them, it sees it but won't access them, otherwise its a good phone, fast but it lacks them 3 things...

I will say one thing dnt buy this crap i used it and later sold it buy one plus one which is far better .... leaving back camera of moto x play all crap heating issue is there........
