Trying to swap my Xperia Z5 with a Moto X Play. Is the X Play now on Nougat 7.0 or 7.1.1? And has there been any issues with the software or hardware in general as I'm curious?

Presently I am using moto x play ,though it has some heating problem due to sd615, bt I am really satisfied with build quality and performance. This master piece got thrown (not fell) from my hand twice, bt you can't imagine not a single spot, just nothing. I like to use my phones without cover and screen guard, the same has applied for my moto also. I think now a days this type build quality is rare within this price range.

I was sceptical about the Jan security update. couple of days ago i went with the update,after that my battery backup had gone for a toss. In battery stats, android OS was the main culprit. Did a normal wipe cache which dint help. Finally did a factory reset, that seems to have worked,phone is back to normal now.

Anybody facing VoLTE problem in using Jio sim. I had VoLTE but suddenly it has stopped connecting and now using JioJoin app which i dont like. Waiting for a solution. TIA

After reboot the phone says that the SD card is corrupted and requires formatting; after clicking on it, it asks whether to treat it as portable or internal. Whichever mode I select it gets struck at 30% and automatically close. I see that I'm not the only one suffering with this kind of issue after marshmallow update as I see that in different forums.
The SD card work perfectly in all other Android devices and Windows Desktop.can anyone have solution about this issue ?

I brought new MOTO Xplay with Turbo Charger on Oct 2016. Now Turbo charger is not working. Any service is available for turbo charger.

But didn't get time to reply. I think you are right when you said something about the 3rd party music app because that was the only change I made. I downloaded 2 music app from playstore I think that might have caused the issue. I already did a factory reset on my phone but still the issue continued with the Bluetooth and otg connection my phone was still restarting. But 2 days back I formatted the again and this time turned my phone on without sd card and to my surprise it worked for me. My issue got resolved. And now I have inserted the sd card again and still there is no issue. So finaly my issue is resolved completely. Thank you once again brother.
