A time comes when while talking to somebody over phone, you cannot keep your ear in touch with the phone, it becomes so hot. They are going to upgrade the OS in late Dec or Jan but by then, because of heating and battery drain, your phone would have lost a quarter of its life span. Also, what really pisses me off is that the data swich off on button is four times removed from your home svreen, that is you have to touch your phone four times before you are able to switch your data off or on.

frnds plzz help..I am Looking to buy this mobile, but i am worry about the heating issues.I saw many reviews saying that after playing & browsing 15-20 min mobile get hit 30 °C to 45 °C.
Is It true ??
After new Update i.e 6.0 problem is solved or not ?? need your kind responds....thnk u in advance.

In Comparision to OnePlus 2, Motorola Play which one would you suggest ?
My usage is casual,app usage, Internet browsing, Calling texting, No gaming !
though I m looking for a screen size between 5.5" to 5.8"

My Moto X Play which i bought a month back is having issues with the contacts. Multiple times during the day the contacts does not appear when you lauch the contacts.
also when you try to see the log history the same is shown blank. If you restart the phone. It comes up again.
This is happening multiple times in a day . Is there any known bug ?

Hi I am using Moto X play and from last2 days it is showing sim not inserted and phone connectivity goes away and come back randomly.I HV another phone having same Vodafone sim and it is working perfectly fine in my home. Pls help in fixing this issue.

I bought MOTO X Play just 4 days back and I am getting problem with call...in very second call the error is coming to caller that phone is out of coverage area even phone is showing full network, and the same SIM is working fine in other phone...can some on check the issue with your phone also...

Even when you use Facebook, which is not good because it drains out battery real fast.if this issue continues, your phone won't last long. Heat roasts most of the components. Flipkart will wash its hand off you once thirty day period is over. You won't be able to return your phone then. In any case, they are not taking the phone back under one pretext or other. Motorola has acted so irresponsibly that it has not even cared to issue any official statement regarding HEATING ISSUES.

The phone has heating issues. PERIOD. The battery drains out quite fast because of heating issues. PERIOD. The Customer Care at Flipkart gives shitty suggestions like uninstalling all the apps and then installing them one by one.I do not have any games installed, actually I do not play games, I mean it,despite that the phone heats up even if I surf net or go through Facebook. Battery backup is no more than 10 to 12 hours. Despite registering complaint with Flipkart they have not got back, they promised they would once their billion dollar sale is over. It's been so many days now. Also, there is no official update from Motorola regarding heating issues, no acknowledgement at all. There is no official online place where we can put a complaint and expect an official reply from Motorola. They seem to have abandoned their Moto X Play buyers and seem to agree that their phone is crap. This is unethical and goes against the norms of responsible salesmanship.

Faraz, 14 Oct 2015White or black......which is best.......plz help me......Buy black because scientifically when you look at the screen the black borders, or sides of the phone that encircle the screen, absorb the light instead of reflecting it thereby helping you concentrate better on the screen and reduces eyestrain. If you buy the white one, it would reflect light which would put extra strain on your eyes.
