AnonD-530794, 27 Apr 2016Can anybody tell me about this phone i want to buy it....Its a great buy if u r looking for a phone with near stock Android experience , good camera and battery life. Where it lags a bit is in performance coz of creepy sd615. I suggest you to update it to mm as soon as u receive it since it's very laggy in lollipop.

Update on my previous post:
I have discovered that the Moto app on the Play lacks the options on the same app on my 2nd Gen model.
On the 2ng Gen the options are:
1. Approach for Moto Display
2. Attentive Display
3. Double karate chop for torch
4. Twist for quick capture
5. Wave to silence.
On the Play the options are:
1. Twist for quick capture.
On the 2ng Gen the screen lights if you place your hand near the phone or just look at the screen. 'Chop' the phone twice to turn the torch on, and wave your hand over the phone when it rings to reject the call; all of which is missing on the Play.
WHY? Why would Motorola remove the missing options?

I received my Moto X Play from Motorola direct yesterday and after setting it up I noticed that the 'Active screen' only worked intermittently at the best of times. I cleaned the Cache Partition and did a Factory Reset but the problem persists. After experimenting I discovered that the IR sensor on the screen isn't sensitive enough to detect movement. Has anyone experienced this and/or have a solution?

happen to me before but works fine now

After the Marshmallow update many times the contacts which I save disappear after couple of minutes after I save them. This is very irritating.
Everytime I save a new contact I update my contact list on WhatsApp and sync all contacts with Google. But guess what there's a sync problem too and I have to sync it twice or thrice before the new contact gets synced with Google

Surprice , moto x play has LED notification on center of up of the ear speaker. But if you want to enable it your phone need root access. If you root access download app from playstore moto LED notification then you can enable LED notification for multiple uses........ VIJAY

good phone with nyce features... only issue for me is heating when I play too much of games

U haven't use any of these phones give them a try u will forget all these branded mid range phones
