Search 'Mura effect' and 'burn in on amoled' on Google. Amoleds are sharp but long term(2 years) usage yields harsh results on screen. And amoleds also suffer from dead pixels, only difference is that you can observe that in white screen.

Its true that phone heats....just today morning i got delivered a brand new moto x play. After all the reviews i read thought positive that atleast camera is good ..but after using it i got disappointed by camera performence is very poor...specially in video mode..after switching to videomode screen starts blinking continuously and that appears in recorded video too...feeling cheated by 21 megapixel...but after i turned hdr mode on...it disappears...but till that time my phone got heated up like frying pan...is there any possibility that after i update it to M this problems will solve....overall the other fuctions are acceptable. in this price range 18k it should have been better than this....

KALIRATH, 05 Feb 2016We don't deliver value to our customers-it should be the ta... moreSee, its the exact case with many service centres, the motherboard change takes a lot of time, whenever a motherboard starts getting problem its wise to sell the phone ASAP, that's the main reason I keep changing my phones... Because once I have been to a samsung care centre for repairing my mother's mobile, they took very long to change the motherboard but also they removed the original speaker of the phone... When I contacted them for the same, they said that the speaker was not working earlier either... I literally had to fight with them to get my speaker changed... They replaced it with a very bad quality speaker and all I was left was with helplessness... From that I limit myself to the service centre only for software issues... If there is any other issue with my phone I prefer to spend money and get it done from some other shop.... The same thing also happened with a xiaomi service centre, I had a MI3, its sim slot was struck into the chasis, I went there, the service centre was almost empty because it was a newly opened one, the attender checked the mobile and forwarded me to their technician, the technician was all over busy on his phone talking to his girlfriend, he asked for 10 min and then another 10 min, after wasting my 45 min sitting there I just walked out of the centre...

I suffered same fate with Xperia(yes Xperia, no one acknowledges this but after sales is taking them deep down). People at Sony Xperia service center play holi inside their office. I have also had bad experiences with Asus,lenovo...etc. So in a nutshell all are same when you buy any brand which betrays you, you simply get frustrated. That's normal. In one plus forum,xiaomi forum some might be saying "xiaomi/one plus has bad service center, so don't buy xiaomi/one plus".

We don't deliver value to our customers-it should be the tagline of Motorola-"Worst service provider".I did buy the moto X Play and faced an issue with the motherboard.I have handed it to the service center and since 2 months i have not yet got it repaired.I have been trying to get it repaired since many days as i have been calling the customer care each and every day and the representatives are fooling me by saying i will get it after 2 days and the 2 days never come.Their Technicians also have a very negligence kind of attitude and they don't provide some update on the same.
Request you not to buy Moto Handsets.Beware of moto.Think before u buy.Be ready to face the consequences.

Shhzd amar, 04 Feb 2016I still didn't get you... What are dead pixels?Pixels that don't light up and produced color. There are many apps on playstore to detect dead pixels. Go to a pitch dark room and open the app. In various color backgrounds if you see small dots that don't light up those are dead pixels.

sam, 04 Feb 2016I am going to purchase moto x play 32gb. should I go for it... moreGaming is not very good on this phone, it still faces some stutters at extreme times, if you are in an hurry then it is a good phone to move forward with it, but if you can wait, let the phones with snapdragon 616, 652 launch and check the performance and heating with those chipsets... Then make your decision

Its not totally shatterproof... Its fragile, if you are prone to drop your phone again and again but the moto x force....

My moto x play is taking 5 to 6 hours to get fully charged..is this normal??..if not what is the solution for this...please advice.
