hi guys i have question..what is use of that small circular thing provided on backside of phone n below the camera on which Moto symbol M is written..?

    A million thanks to Flipkart for the rapid delivery, booked on Wednesday and delivered next day early morning. Besides they have special discount of Rs.2000 off which is a fair good price for the device with specÂ’s in above the mid-range devices. Got it for 17999
    Overall for a use of a week, i wish to share my experience which will help for the moto x play seekers. Ofcourse this too have its own pros and cons.
    Pros:
    1. OCTO core processor with 2GB RAM, I havenÂ’t experienced any lags no matter I used for various purpose of gaming, browsing and watching videos. Though it has 2GB RAM but the performance is great.
    2. Brilliant display with 403PPI, the resolution and production of colors is very impressive.
    3. Call clarity is good and audible without any distortion.
    4. Front camera shoots amazing selfies, with good clarity only in good lighting and outdoors.
    5. Rear camera of 21MP shoots very well and the best part is, the captured pic can be zoomed at max.
    6. Good battery life for a day and half with moderate usage.
    Cons:
    1. It does warm up while camera in use, playing video above 5 mins, playing hi-graphix games, but this is normal in any smart phones. It really doesnÂ’t heats up but only gets warm.
    2. The inbuilt camera app is very basic and to have better experience I use perfectly clear app and cameringo+ app.
    3. I really doubt this has 21MP as the shots are not really of any 21MP should be. Moreover, if u select to shoot in 21MP the display is only 4:3 and for widescreen it has option of 16:9 which downgrades to 16MP only.
    4.Indoor and by flash doesnÂ’t produce a good picture, but a very average quality picture.
    5.This is based out of pure google user interface and it is not impressive and I have to download go-launcher for customized attractive interface.
    6.There is no default LED notification in all the devices manufactured in India. But yes you may try to tweak by installing from playstore (Moto Led For Moto X & E) but again after installing you have to root it which is not worth doing this. As the LED notification blinks only for the Storge R/W, Blink when charging, connected with pc, adapter charging, battery charging, battery full, battery charging full and this are all the options available.
    7.AMOLED display is missing, if they could have added with additional of 2k more.
    8. To listen to music, the speakers are not that great or loud. But yes it has good clarity if you use a good handsfree.
    Final Verdict: If you plan to purchase smartphone with range of 15-20k then i recommend only Moto x play 32GB, than any of samsung or sony xperia variants in same price range.
    Moto X play is really a good device.

      AnonD-404093, 18 Jan 2016Can Moto X Play 16 GB play GTA San Andreas in Max settings ... moreI must confess sometimes it does heat up; but cools down quickly especially at the time of updating apps or playing games using 4g Network. Never seen problems while using Wifi. May be 615 processor is not that good to handle gaming performance after all its a entry level chipset with 1.7 ghz which I feel is a bit over clocked as other brands are using the same chipset with lesser clocking speed around 1.5 ghz or less. I feel a quad core with >2 ghz speed along with a good GPU is better suited for graphics and gaming needs.

        Hi friends my moto x play is not getting marshmallow 6.0 and i bought it from flipkart India my phone is currently working on lollipop 5.1.1, i checked manually for system update it showing as your system is up to date what should i do to get marshmallow 6.0

As some of the videos on YouTube are showing that GTA SA being played smoothly in 32 GB Black Variant in MAX Graphics settings after M update. Please check GTA SA in MAx Graphics & Nova 3 also in High Graphics please. Also which brand's quick Charger you are using?

                chris, 17 Jan 2016Should i update to 6?You don't need to as there is no real difference in battery and how it looks between 5.x and 6.0 (I think about it as minor update, not whole new system), but after update performance seems to be better, they add possibility to edit Notification tiles (but there isn't many options to choose from) and it's safer, 'coz they added all safety updates from Google.

I got almost 10h screen on time with 3,5 day in Lollipop and now 8,5h with 3 days on Marshmallow (however here from 88% nor 100%, 'coz I was updating on battery), so even if it's worse, the difference is almost imperceptible.

                      GTA SA works, not sure if on Max details, as I prefer to have game always playable on Low, than even rare lags, so didn't even tried.

                            Updated to Marshmallow 6.0 , many apps crash , Google Web view glitchs . There is no difference in UI between 5.x and 6.x so don't update in case of Moto X play

But after the Marshmallow update the gaming performance has improved drastically. U can also set the performance to mid without finding any lags in the game.
