Brilliant display (amoled)
Fast updates (enjoying nougat since Dec)
Better battery performance
Nexus biggest disadvantage: no expandable storage!
Everything else is almost same :)

One of the best things about the phone is it's video stabilization, which puts a lot of flagships to shame, even the Nexus 6p, if I never told anyone they wouldn't know I was using a smartphone to record. I have a Microsoft Lumia 950xl which they say is supposed to have one of the best cameras but comparing both phones the Moto x beats it in both video stablization and image quality. Trust me when I purchased it I didn't know the camera would be this good at half the price of my other phone. And yea gaming and the speakers are awesome to!

I have owned it for about a year but lately all of a sudden my display will get a light pinckish from time to time. It goes away after a restart however. So, I hope its just an unstable driver and not my display going out....
