Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) Review
So after owning my Motorola Moto X Pure (2015) for the past few days I can say this. It's nearly a perfect phone.
Processor: The processing power it puts out is incredible for the price of the phone. It's snappy and responsive everywhere. I don't have a slowdown at all because of Stock Android with Nova Launcher as my overlay. It is a monster hexa-core clocked at 1.7 GHz.
RAM: This phone has 3 GB of RAM, and is incredibly smooth running. I can heavily multitask apps with ease. Running many apps at the same time without any form of slowdown.
Display: The 5.7" 1440p TFT 520PPI display may throw a lot of people off for it's size. But with large hands, such as mine it is perfect. I can still use the phone in a single hand, and the screen size is perfect for other tasks, such as taking notes for school or work. The display gives a clear resolution for any form of media.
Camera: The rear camera's 21 megapixels and the ability to record 4k video is impressive. It takes amazing clear quality pictures. It has an incredible front facing camera as well at 5 megapixels. The camera doesn't have a manual mode, but it does have the ability to control focus and exposure which is a very nice touch. It's not the greatest camera for lower lighting though.
Battery: The battery is a 3000 mAh and can easily last hours with heavy usage. The turbocharger that comes with it for quick charging can generally get you a full charge in under an hour. It's a very fast charging phone with a fairly good battery life.
Build Quality: This device overall is built incredibly well. It has a metal frame with a choice of back between wood, leather, or silicone. It also has a water repellent nano coating over the screen to protect against spills. The glass is made from Corning Gorilla Glass, and it's incredibly sturdy.
My overall views on this phone are that it's the best device I've ever owned. Pure Android is the only way I enjoy to have it even with a super light launcher on it. Nexus devices always have the best layout of Android, and this is practically a Nexus phone. The only thing this phone is missing is a fingerprint scanner and that's not an absolute must have. This is by far the best phone I've owned.

Tried this phone, too bad it didn't fit in my jean pocket.
This phone is just too huge and cumbersome.

I'm loving this phone, at first i though that I wouldn't like the "curvy" design but it feels very confortable in my hand, camera is really good and I love the fact that it never lags no matter how many apps runing, overall is a great phone

AnonD-487742, 12 Jan 2016I haven't been so satisfied with a phone since the Nexus 5.... morego to a silent room and then try to record your Moto Voice command.
Make sure your first word that start the command is very distinctive like "hello" and "listen up" is better than saying "ok".
And about the notification on screen whenever you hold it up, don't worry about it cause Motorola says it does even consume much battery.

I haven't been so satisfied with a phone since the Nexus 5. Moto getting the camera right this time made this phone a beast. Its kinda weird to see the display light up every time to move by it. My natural reaction is to worry about my battery but I have never found this to be a legit issue to the battery. With my usage, there is a tad of drain but it doesn't outweigh the benefit to me.
My biggest complaint is with the moto voice recognition. I have to be in COMPLETE silence and make 50 attempts to program it to my phrase. I had a very frustrating time with this.

few tips for even better battery life.
Update to Android Marshmallow
Go to settings and turn off NFC
Use a crystal clear screen protector and lower the screen brightness
Never over-charge the device
Never update apps automatically on sleep, do turn off the wifi when not in use
Apply the bumper this will make a mobile network stronger so less battery drain
Disable moto services which you don't use often
P.S. This mobile is a beast, my best buy yet, 10/10

vishnu, 05 Jan 2016Friends I m very confused between moto x STyle and lg G4 wh... moreGo for the moto unless you want good low light performance on the camera. The extra pixels actually do good in daylight. Absence of ois is an issue , but you can live with it.

This is an awsome phone and im using ... moreI never complained about its quality, yes it is a good phone but it looks ugly, Motorola used to make beautiful phones like MotoMing, Razr, hell even Droid Razr looked beautiful but now due to some odd reason they are no more making stylish and good looking phones.
