Always prefer Motorola due to nearly stock Android ( next to Pixels and Nexus)
However, you can choose as below as numbered.
1- Moto Z play first. But Xiaomi Redmi 4 prime (yet to launch in India)is same as Z play at 1/3rd the price. Except AMOLED display,screen size and camera,its all similar. Xiaomi has beefy battery.
2- Xiaomi Mi Note 2- currently not available in India,but hopefully will be launched soon.
3- blackberry dtek50 - similar to z play,but with blackberry security.
4- One+3 T - will be launched soon
5- Xiaomi Mi5- if you are in hurry to buy then this is best choice.
6- if all above options fail,opt for LG G5 first and then Huawei last.

With so many options and it's analysis,I think my reply will be too lengthy. And this being specific forum for Moto Z, I don't know if it would be appropriate.

If you use another launcher like Google's you will have a better experience on a Samsung phone. The hardware is some of the best made.

screen mirroring will not work in moto z ... tried casting but showing no devices found but my htc mobile working fine with my TV . Pl help to sort this issue

Nkm, 26 Oct 2016I am not able to increase notification volume of my moto Z..
Go to settings,sounds and notification and then you will get options for volume bar for all sorts of sounds.
And yes don't forget to use volume button for increasing or decreasing the volume.

Motorola is vying for a slightly different customer base - those looking for a decent sized screen, low weight, thinness and mods. With the thinness of course it sacrifices battery capacity. From the bit I've read, the battery endurance isn't too bad, but not super, either.
So, the numerous trade-offs are there, perhaps for differentiation.

Sometimes i dont understand why a phone company would release a phone with a shit battery, but put in top of the line specs. Why would i want to buy this instead of a s7 or s7 edge? Doesnt make any sense.
