Think Lenovo will see people commenting negatively about the price and bring the price down in India? I want to buy it but if it's gonna cost more than 23k I'd rather buy the 1plus3. More powerful, slightly smaller, good battery & camera(ois). The moto z play has modularity, battery life due those a53 cores n 3500mAh battery and nothing else is better than 1plus3. Refurbished 1plus3 with 6months warranty is going for 23999 on Amazon. I really want great battery life but I guess I'll buy 1plus3 if the price is more than 23000.

indeed i just saw this phone on youtube and the video review of the phone shows better than the pictures i see here. i saw an original camera face design attached to the back of the phone and it has 10 x optical lense. the picture are so clear. the attached is removeable. i really loved what i saw this morning.

And yeah you should get the Z Play because of the SoC or the Mods or the camera, but I think they are pretty much the same thing except for the features mentioned above. G4+ will have Nougat and O, so the Z play might get O, surely will have Nougat.

I think I shall wait for a complete review to better gauge its worth. Feature-wise, I prefer Z Play more than G4 Plus because SD617 is simply not efficient enough, throttling plus overheating. Just that I did not expect Z Play to cost that much.

LLL, 02 Sep 2016That's correct, but last time I remember Lenovo is a Chines... moreFirst off: Yeah I forgot for one sec that Lenovo is an chinese company, beacause I use their laptops and you would not say it is an chinese laptop in terms of quality.
Then: I think that the 150$ MAY be worth it, IF there will be some kind of SoC upgrade modz or something like this. This one also has an 625 over the 617 (minor change) and NFC. Otherwise then go for the G4 (Plus if you live in some markets) if you won't make use of the mods, or if you do not like USB-C or if you really want radio in your phone.

Just found the UK price to be £370. Why would I get this over a slightly cheaper OP3 that comes with a SD820, 6GB ram etc. The pricing for newly released phones are absurd.

I wonder if there will be Moto Z Style with 5.7" screen and how are they going to implement existing Moto Mods to a bigger phone. Screen to body ratio of Moto Z phones definitely allow to squeeze 5.7" screen into Moto Z Force body for example.

However, my gripe stems more from the fact that 64 GB Moto G4 Plus costs $300, so what are the extra features Z Play has that warrant the $150 premium?
On top of my head: Modularity, SD625, Amoled screen, 4k video capture, anything else?

By having the top and bottom bezels equal, it now looks 10000% better than its other siblings.
