The Motofone F3 itself has no SMS storage capability. It relies on your GSM CHIP capacity.
If you have this phone you can verify that there is not an option for you to choose between storing phone numbers on the phone or on the GSM CHIP.
Again, it all depends on your GSM CHIP. Don't expect it to save SMS on the phone.

Guys,
this phone is very simple and doesn't have many options, it is used to talk and send messages. Cheap, i got it for less than $50 usd including a few phone calls and no contract.
Do I like it?
I like the design but the functions are bad and the display should be better, but it was a great solution during my travels in Mexico city.

F3 is worthless avail 25$,whats the point whenagainst cheap price u sacrifice all basic facilities like n 112 nokia 4mb internal all basics we r used for years.The price 40$ includ spker.every tom dick ad harry is holding its wast distinction,people ask when its come down to 10$.SHAME

I can't help with the call waiting. If the F3 can do it, I don't know how. The manual says nothing about that.

Call waiting is the feature when you are attending a call and while you are talking... another person can call you and you here a beep... then if you want you can swap between two calls.....

Call Waiting ... is a word what we use around in Banglasesh.....
This is the option when you are on a call another person can call you and you can swap between two calls.........

It might be possible to display the date along with the time, but the user manual does not help on this matter. I'm guessing that the date is mainly for registering when you make or receive a call, or get a SMS.
If I discover how to display the date on the screen saver I'll post the instructions.
About the call waiting could you rephrase? I don't understand what you want to do.
