I have this one, I think it's OK, but I don't know the phone doesn't support for Java application. Ex: .jad and .jar files can not run on Mpx200.
Please, tell me how to run java applications.

Hello..I think this I'm planning to purchase this phone in a few days to came. Can somebody tell me if it is possible to upgrade the OS to Windows Mobile 2003? where can I download the source?

i expected much more functionality from such device. as for me i'm looking for the opportunity to upgrade my mpx200 from smartphone2oo to winmobile 2oo?. wmp-? ie-? speed-?

It´s a good phone instead the poor battery life. I need some help to find a flat cable of Mpx200. Does anyone knows whos sells spare parts of this phone?

the mpx200 is a good phone from motorola, the only thing is that doesn't have a camara.
but it has others thing to make you forguet about it, like the mesenger, the windows media player, and other stuff.

it's just great, but i feel frustrated bout the clock that changes automatically every time. anybody knows what i should do? thx bfore hand.

I am very interested in buying the mpx200 or the mpx220 but one thing, I need to know a couple things before. The sound quality of the phone from speakerphone and just putting it to ur ear and talking. I wanted to know if someone is calling you how loud does it ring since the it is a speakerphone and not jus regular and can u adjust the volume of the ring while the call before u pick up. The last thing is the battery life, is it really what i bin hearing or not.n Could someone help me out.

This phone inst horrible. But there are some problems. Because it is almost like a PDA, it spends much time thinking with the little icon. At which time you can do nothing but wait. Also just like a computer it needs to be restarted everynow and then. Let me just say if you love this phone because it does so many things, that will be the smae reason you gfet frustrated by this phone. It does so many things, but it doesnt do any of them GREAT!

The phone is OK but the battery is the worst I've ever seen!!! The new one that come with the phone lasted only 3 months. The 96 Stand by time a up to 4 hrs talk time are BULL! Had an new one send directly from Morotola - lasted only last than a month and now I have to charge it every other day. Drives me nuts! On top of all T-Mobile don't want to support this phone because was too smart for them and the price of 3.99 for T-Zones was to little. They banned it from accesing the net! If I wanted a net commection with this phone, the Tech support guy told me I have to pay $30 and he still wasnt sure if they'll alow this phone for access.Now I have one pretty looking worthles mobile device with a bloody battery.

Battery no longer charging!!! Had my MPX 200 for over a year but now battery wont recharge through the charging slot. Looks like one of the charging slot's 5 internal connector pins (which are thin and fragile so watch out!) is broken so this could be the problem. The broken pin is the end one on the far left side as you look into the charging slot. Thought I could maybe recharge using the USB connection cable instead via my computer, which uses the same slot as the battery charger but no luck. Also used three different chargers so its definatly a phone, not a battery charger, problem. So phone dead in the water. Any sugestions?

have it for two weeks,didn't crash so far ,works fine,very satisfied .No camera-who cares ,that's what digitals are for ,no bluetooth-small minus.Advice:don't use internal memory ,buy sd card (128Mb min)& keep memory free ,than you will be happy with this phone.
1 BIG MINUS -battery last up to 1-2 days.

Hey
Sweeeet! got my phone working again! For all those whose phone gets stuck after a master reset, simply connect it to your computer. It will ask you if you want to start a partnership, press yes. for some reason it will work again!
Also, if you are experiencing short battery life, leave you phone on until it shuts down automatically. Recharge and repeat this cycle a couple of times.

Hi people!
I just did a "master reset" on my MPx200, nad now when i try to start it, it won't boot past the HelloMoto screen. Also, I would like to ask whether ot not it is worth upgrading to WM2003, since i have read mixed opinions...
I love the phone and i hope I haven't messed it up:(...
