just bought it sim free carfone warehouse .how the hell can you get it on internet,its got a block on it due to firmware which is being sorted anyone done it yet thanks

The MPX 220 is absolutley, positively the WORST phone I've ever owned. This phone was so expensive and promised so much. Since purchasing it, I've cancelled all of the internet access and other "bells and whistles" service because NONE OF IT WORKS. This phone shuts off for no apparent reason - as a matter of fact, it just shut off now while I was writing this message...sometimes it won't take a charge, the volume is crap, now I'm having problems writing text messages...some sort of predictive text feature decided to turn itself on and I cannot figure out how to turn it off. I HATE THIS PHONE. I paid a fortune for this phone that promised everything but the kitchen sink and now I use it as a plain old phone. I should have known better - anything that runs on MS Windows is expected to have problems...

camera is for the birds speaker phone is for then pigeons after 3 months its locking up shutting off and the microphone makes me sound like im in tim buck two. im loosing faith in motorola ive had all their products since day one and im making the switch to audiovox smt5600

Motorola what were you thinking? I've had this phone for a few months now and must say the camera is a joke, speakerphone is pathetic, it's not nearly loud enough other than in a quite room and already after a few months, I'm having the charging problem that everyone is complaining about. I must say the hardware build on this phone is just sad.
This phone should definitely have been recalled, if Motorola puts this garbage into the market, I will definitely buy another phone from them. I've had over 10 cell phones and all performed as expected, this most defintely does not !
By the way, I did update to the 3.46 most recent rom, and have tried other ROMs as well.

I am really dissapointed about the phone in general. I had big expectation on it. It freezes up constantly. My VGA 600 pixels phones takes much better pictures than this suppossed 1.2 megapixels.

Worst phone I ever owned - this thing should be recalled. Volume sucks, firmware update doesnt work, camera is a pathetic joke.
When I get another phone I'm going to smash this one into 1000 pieces because I hate it so (literally)

I Have my mpx220, it's impossible to use my bluetooth. It might be a problem and i was trying to put it on default menu, hard to find it. i need some advice, please help me

I am having promblems! It is starting tio freeze and when i play an mp3 and then stop it and try ti play another mp3 it doesnt work it says error!

Having problem with mpx220 the contact will not work and it is not recong. my sim card. I tried the software but someone sold me the wrong software. Would anyone be able to help me with this or may be burn me a copy of their software disc. I have the cable just not the driver and installation cd. Thanks

nate the phone does have predictive text. It has 7 modes to entire.
1. predictive.
2 predictive all CAPS.
3. predictive sentence case.
4. non predive.
5. non predictive sentence case.
6. non predictive all CAPS.
7. numbers only.
just hold down the * key to change mode and read the manual. you can download it from this site. it even remembers the last mode you were in. I wish I could set a default mode though.
This is the best phone Ive had so far. I have it for 2 weeks now and none of the problems that you guys are complaining about. My sound is excellent. unlimited applications and customization.
camera is crappy though and the LED flash goes off before the pic is snaped thats why the flash does not work. ringtones could be a bit louder. ring and vibrate at the same time does get my attention.
I have a nintendo emulator on it running some real vintage games.
I have the euro version black.
O and the voice dialing speach recog sofware is good. does not work over bluetooth but you can still use your headset after you voice dial via the handset.

this phone sucks ....There is no predictive text....but yet it is used for email what a waste of money i am going back to my siemens phone!!!!!

Is this cell a really godd choice ? I mean I've been hearing many comments about it , but it seems like that nobody agrees with nothing .
Also I would like to know if the main display has 65k or 256k colors , and if I can play the same games that I would play on v635 on it. Thanx a lot , any help will be trully aprecciated.

it's the fastest phone on the market(mpx220-14534 and k750i-6280 in benchmark).
Very good phone, i have only one problem. redirected telephones can not be answerd some times! mpg*, wma, wmv, mp3, mp4, mid, amr,3GPP, txt, doc*,etc.

I have this phone and never has any problem, well here in Brazil(Tim)his function is very good, who want to buy this cell, good luck, because it's the best Motorola's phone.
