Snooperman, 17 Jan 2017I do not know what else man could look out from one phone ,... moreTo bad the Google Pixel was the next phone and it is super expensive.. Also it runs android 7 and can't be downgraded if you want custom features that only 6.0.1 supports. Really sucks..At least the Nexus 6 can still be bought for 299.99 on Amazon! I am going to get another one when my Nexus 6 hits the bucket.

SM, 05 Jan 2017To me it is the best phone I have ever had. I am thinking o... moreSame... I am on Verizon and Verizon don't sell this phone anymore.. You can still get the phone unlocked on Amazon for $300 tho. I am going to do it the next time I need another phone. The new phones are not much better compared to the Nexus 6.. + it can run 6.0.1! Most newer phones can't which means they can't have Xposed.. Of coarse custom ROM support will always great on google related phones.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2017Please.. Best phone htc m9, Motorola nexus 6 or huawei honor 8? In my personal opinion the Nexus 6. I have the least issues with this phone when doing any technical stuff like flashing ROMS and giving the phone root. Also if you ever make a mistake, google hosts a application that you can download to fix the Nexus 6 if it has a bootloop to make it like brand new again. I am using Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1

krassi, 11 Apr 2017You can download OTA image 7.1.1 I am running official 7.1.1I am running Android 6.0.1 with Dirty Unicorns ROM. Using Xposed, Lspeed, Kernel Auditor. Oh also check out the Pulse messaging app on the play store. You can pay $10.99 for a life time of use so you can txt message with Chromium/Chrome Extension.. I use it on a daily basis for my messaging app. I also use OGInsta+ for Instagram XPrivacy in Xposed.

This phone has by far given me the best android experience.. Just like the Nexus 5 the Nexus 6 allows you to install ROMs of almost all types. It allows you to go to Googles website in case you bootloop your phone and tells you how step by step to repair it. Everything I have tried on this phone, using rootkits to root and flash TWRP to the phone work flawlessly. Getting into bootloader and going to recovery (TWRP) works flawlessly. Using root to save battery by making the resolution smaller works great(1080p). I have no issues with this phone other than if you don't root the phone or install a custom ROM your experience WILL (and I meant to put those caps) not be as good as mine. If you don't know what I am talking about check out this ROM named Dirty Unicorns and look for the code name "Shamu." Code name Shamu is the code name for the Nexus 6. Also another fact about why I am not leaving this phone(Yet). Once Xposed is supported for android nougat 7.0 and above then I will switch to another phone but it is not.. So to me right now a phone with 6.0.1 and below are superior to android 7.0. Do the research on Xposed as well, because you will want too. Also check out the apps that require root named Lspeed, Terminal Emulator, Kernel Adiutor, and especially like I mentioned Xposed.

The series of phones I went through started with an iPhone 4 to the note 2, note 3, then a nexus 6. Unfortunately the reason I gave up on my nexus 6 is because I wanted iPhone again due to having an iPad, iMac,'and MacBook Pro. But the nexus 6 has the best version of android with the most beautiful body visually and physically. I mean you just want to touch it all the time. Motorola did a fantastic job on assembling the phone as far as ergonomics go. It's too bad they don't still make a phone like this and this big because I'd buy in a heartbeat even with my iPhone 7 plus.

How is your post Nougat experience with this beast? Battery life has improved as in could you just give the stats about in SOT and overall usability till it gives all out. I'm not much of a gamer hence would like to get an idea about the overall battery performance. I do mostly browsing, YouTube, connected to 4G LTE round the clock. Let me know. Thanks in advance.
