I had the same problem with some cheap protector, I couldn't make or not even answer phone calls. Removed the protector and everything worked again. The factory-installed protector worked flawlessly for me.

Its maybe because of your screen protector. Get better quality of screen protector.

I have been a longtime Samsung user, until recently. I purchased a Nexus 6 after my Galaxy S6 failed recently. My initial impression of the Nexus 6 is that it's huge, and very functional. The size can be good or bad depending on your perspective. In my case phone size is irrelevant.

The good: The phone is much faster than any phone i have owned to date. The unlocked, 32gb version that I purchasedd is pretty devoid of bloat ware. My carrier, T Mobile never seemed to have much coverage in my area. Were it not for the wifi calling, mobile hotspot, and of course the price (4 lines for $100) I'd have bailed on them awhile back. The Nexus 6 seems to have more than sufficient signal in areas where my prevoius phones had little or none. I purchased the unlocked version, which is not specific to my carrier and the T Mobile wifi calling and the mobile hotspot both work as well as my previous carrier branded phones without any additional apps, rooting, or other nonsense. The wireless charging is just awesome! Many have complained that it did not work well or at allfor them. I purchased aftermsrket 3 coil chargers and use the with 2.1 amp wall warts, thet work great. The phone charges much quicker than my previous phones with wired chargers, from 20% to full charge in about an hour. The battery life is better than my Galaxies ever was. With heavy use it still lasts all day.

The bad: The battery is not easily changeable, so when it does get low one needs a back-up plan. I did have a problem briefly with text messaging, which from what I saw on the Internet that may not be an isolated issue. The phone wouldn't send out text messages. However after I restarted the phone and the problem cleared up immediately. In general, the apps that come with the Nexus 6 are not as aesthetically pleasing as those on some other mfgrs phones, probably why the apps run faster. Serviceability is definitly not as good as Samsung, but probably on par with LG, HTC, and others.

Conclusion: I am an electrical engineer an have never been an early adopter, I'm usually a generation or two behind in phone technology. Overall my experience with the Nexus 6 so far is very good, far more positive than negative. Although the large format may not be for everyone, if you like large phones I can recommend this one. It may take a little getting used to but there are excellent tutorials on line that go into every aspect of phone setup on the Nexus phones. When properly setup this phone is way more convenient than any I have owned to date.

I had last year bought 64 gb Nexus 6 from Flipkart. Had to return back since I found that the max volume of the phone came down if the battery is less that 50%. Otherwise the phone was good in terms of design, body to screen ratio and battery life and the 6 inch screen. I therefore couldn't resist myself and yesterday ordered for the 32 gb version and am also nervous. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, is there any solution for this. Tanks a ton in advance for the answer.
