Battery life is still 6 hours of SOT, which is good in my opinion - considering the screen size. Haven't even rooted my phone, but I'm thinking about installing the Android N-test version.

Charging port problems are not uncommon on many brands. That's from repair techs I've talked to, with Apple, Samsung and LG being the most trouble free. I had that problem on an Acer tablet five times. Asurion just sent me a check for the full purchase price + tax because it was not repairable anymore. I got a Qi compatable wireless charger (about $16 + shipping) for my 6 and always use it unless I need a quick charge and then I will use the 6's turbo charger. Personally I'd like to see the old round style charging port added and the micro usb port kept for what it should be used for. I'm not waiting for that to happen.

Is still one of the best unit you can get .lgot my science a year already is powerful always running in the ultimate OS and resiving moundly security update, went many other devices are stronger to get 6.0 my unit is testing 7.0 .

A5 neither
But Nexus 6 will be updated to Android 7.x and if you installed CyanogenMod , you'll receive updates until 2018 .
That's why I choose this phone .
