Phoenixy, 09 Jul 2020I don't know where you live, but where I live, the A71... morethat might change with this phone I think, just like it happened during the time of moto x gen 1, that was a great phone too just like this one and got sold in large numbers and forced moto to launch regular updates as the community was big enough to put pressure...I am expecting the same this time around since this one is also a great deal like moto x in 2014

TatcherLightsOut, 10 Jul 2020Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I personally find the Fusion... moremacro cam on fusion is good but rest of the cams are not as good as POCO x2 in this price range, I will recommend you to go for that one if you are not much fun of stock android.
suggesting this as I am sure you will be utilizing whole camera assembly not just the macro

It does make great photos with beautiful colours and also delivers decently in low light. A bit bulky, but very smooth in operation due its decent cpu-ram combination. Battery can take 2 days of medium use for sure. Not a fan of the retractable selfie cam, as it can lead to disaster if it fell on it while having it out, but the price-performance-cameras-OS was unbeatable.

The most pathetic thing about this phone is plastic body atleast provide a metal other OEM provides gorilla glass at the same price, yep we know they have ads in them but we can always install custom roms ..
I might consider it if its metal ,this is 2020 and we don't want plastic for a device which is more than $200 .

I personally find the Fusion+ more appealing, maybe I'm caught by the "underdog" story :D But I like the macro cam with actual focus, and the colors seems more real, lowlight shots better. (As I mentioned I should buy an actual bridge camera for this price, but I dont want a hundred gadgets in my pocket... :)

It doesn't mention if the screen is protected by any version of gorilla glass or panda glass, is it?

Whatch out for the Android updates, it ruins the battery life. In my previous post I wrote about the ,now like a dream, battery usage. After the Android update the percentage is 13 % for 2 hours of usage, no games just some light messaging. The battery lasts for a day now, Google is sabotaging these phones on purpose? so don't finish the Android instalation which the phone comes shipped with, leace it unfinished or it will ruin your battery life.

Thank you for the kind reply :)
I might consider the Motorola then... Both would be outdated in about 2 years I guess and by then, I could afford another phone. Or maybe I should just buy an actual camera, that can obviously take better photos :D

TatcherLightsOut, 08 Jul 2020Hi guys,
Can you advise me, if I should choose Fusion+ vs ... moreI don't know where you live, but where I live, the A71 is about 30% more expensive.
They use the same sensors, but judging by the gsmarena tests, the Fusion+ photos are better.
However Samsung may improve it overtime, but Motorola won't, because Motorola's main weakness is the "software support (updates)".

Hi guys,
Can you advise me, if I should choose Fusion+ vs Samsung A71 from camera perspective? I want great macro and nature shots. Leaves, grass, rocks, bark, etc... They seem really really close. What is your opinion? Like with reasoning :)
