piku, 13 Jan 2020Use vlc or mx use stretch or fill aspect ratioHell no. Cutting off parts is dumb and so is stretching it. It just ruins it.

Feel like this is a competitor for redmi note 8 pro, realme x, other cheap camera phones. Chipset lacking, but everything else is good.

What a waste, not 6 GB RAM, no dedicated sdcard option ???

I don't wanna own a redmi/realme phone in India because of ads and privacy concerns. I am looking for new moto devices.. I just wish they bring new chipsets instead of old ones

Since it doesn't jabe a integrated modern, it will use a separate 5G modern, NO 4G, will price heat and consumer more energy. Maybe it's going to be another SD810

For some reason I thought the Hyper was 21:9 and that you were considering it. Well anyways, I wouldn't get a Sony phone if I were you. They have pretty bad cameras and terrible battery life. I'd get the OnePlus 7T Pro over the Xperia 1 if I were you. Or better yet, I'd wait for a Snapdragon 865 phone before wasting $750 on something that's gonna be immediately outdated. I just don't think it's worth sacrificing so much just for the better aspect ratio. Just my personal preference.

Really Motorola a crappy SP675? You co8ldnt even put a 700 series on ur new "flagship" well now is official Motorola has STOPPED MAKING HIGH TOP phones, now they just do crappy mid-range phones that are not even good, with obsolete SoC's, sad to see the downfall of Motorola in the hands of Lenovo.
                            RIP Motorola...

I have an LG V30 ... moreI am not talking about LG V30 or Motorola One Hyper, both of them are ~68mm wide, I am talking about 21:9 screens and the largest 21:9 device is xperia 1 which is ~65mm wide and the Xperia 5 is just ~61mm wide which much less than 68mm. what about your experience about using Xperia 5, specially typing, reading and viewing 16:9 videos on it. Thanks

sohail shafayat, 15 Dec 2019How is it amazing? Please explain. I need to know from user... moreTyping is just fine. Not impacted at all. I have an LG V30 so I'd know due to it having basically the same horizontal screen size. Reading PDF files should also not impacted at all. The only difference would be reading more vertically. Although 16:9 videos I would imagine being an issue. With my V30 they aren't because it has an OLED display and the black bars look like part of the bezel and disappear in the dark, but this is an LCD. The black bars would glow due to the back light. So yes that would be an issue.
