Motorola One Macro gets NCC certification in Taiwan. Should release shortly

Victor, 21 September 2019

The Motorola One Macro is now officially one step closer to a market release after it was spotted at NCC. In other words, the phone is now cleared by authorities in Taiwan for a release. The filing in question pertains to a Motorola XT2016-1. That's the same model number that recently popped-up in a different NBTC (certification agency) document alongside the One Macro moniker, putting to rest previous rumors that the Moto G8 was up next in Motorola's release schedule.

Anyway, this new NCC certification doesn’t really reveal any new info on the One Macro, aside from full 4G frequency band support for Taiwan, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi - hardly surprising. It does, however, indicate that the phone is pretty much ready for an official release. One that is likely imminent. Luckily, the Motorola One Macro also stopped by Geekbench a few days ago, offering up details on its internals, along with a live photo, unearthed by XDA.

Design-wise. We expect a notched display, pretty thick chin below the panel, as well as purple volume rocker and power button accent keys on the right-hand side of the device. Key specks include a Helio P60 SoC, 2GB RAM, and Android Pie.

US customers, don't buy. No 4G LTE band for T-Mobile 71. Their website did not mention what band for this cellphone.
