Motorola One Vision launches in India on June 20, new teaser confirms

Vlad, 11 June 2019

The Motorola One Vision, that made its global debut in mid-May, is coming to India. We already assumed that the company's event on June 20 was going to star the One Vision, but with a new teaser, Motorola's official Twitter account for the subcontinent practically confirms it. Have a look for yourself:

The punch-hole display (and the location of the hole) alongside the hashtag used are dead giveaways - the One Vision is indeed on its way to India. Whether other One branded Motorola phones will join it on June 20 or not remains to be seen, however.

The One Vision is part of the Android One program, as its name implies, which means it runs a stock-like build of the OS and should receive guaranteed updates for two years and security patches for three years from its release.

The One Vision is an interesting device for Motorola because it's the company's first with a punch-hole screen, 21:9 aspect ratio, and the first to use an Exynos chipset.

It runs Android 9 Pie and the display is a 6.3" LCD with 1080x2520 resolution. At the helm there's the Exynos 9609 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. Storage is 128GB, expandable via microSD. The dual camera setup on the rear consists of a main 48 MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture and a 5 MP depth sensor. Living inside the punch hole in the screen is a 25 MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The One Vision has a 3,500 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

In Europe the recommended retail price is €300, which at the current exchange rates translates into INR 23,589.
