When they say SIM - non removable, does that mean the phone comes preinstalled with a SIM card???

Cellphone Geek, 26 Nov 2012The battery cannot be removed. The battery can be removed!!!!! I have seen it done. Just not by the "User"! if you take a plastic "Wedge-like tool" and gently work it around the case; you can remove the backing to expose the battery. Then find a replacement battery for it. you also can go online or visit a bateries plus store http://www.batteriesplus.com/they are pretty Ingenious when it comes to batteries they may be able to remove the power cells and replace them. Anything you do to this phone other than just basic user operations will null-and-void the warenty. But for those who want a phone and don't care about the warrenty feel free. Keep in mind: My XT897 basicly lives on a charger. It is a powerful phone capable of multi-tasking but at the same time... I have seen it drain my battery to 0% in like 2 hours 14 min (a Proud achievement I think). and since it is a LiPo Battery do not ever let the battery drain to Zero. you will kill the battery.

                          ***************** Warning ***************************

LiPo batteries can be extremely dangerous if used improperly. They have caused fires in homes and automobiles after erupting during charging or after impact. They are also extremely sensitive to high temperatures and must be properly stored to avoid spontaneous combustion. They should be stored in fireproof containers when not in use, and not left unattended when charging.

I own this phone and it is suposed to to work on any CDMA Network. My area does not have 4G but have been to places with 4G and it will transition without any input from you as long as you have 4G turned on. But 3G is the Primary set-up. Remember though to go into your network settings and lock what Network you want it on or it will roam and Fees and Data rates "Will" apply.

Hi everyone, may I ask if this phone would work on Australia network, in particular 3g network as I do not have the need for 4g atm.
                                Thank you

Lovely specifications. A gem in a world where decent QWERTY phones are getting rare. Only downside is the LTE being boneheadedly single-band and only capable of working in the North American market. Maybe we should all write in to Google-Motorola and have them release a world version of the phone.
