The lack of WiFi really hurts.Oh,and is there a way to clear your entire sms inbox at one shot?I cant seem to find that option in the menu.Have to manually delete messages one by one.Real pain in the butt.

I've the Asian version which supports GSM850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA2100, the last band makes this phone works in Japan.
Call me naive, I'm aware of any GSM phone which supports "both" 3G networks being used in US (HSDPA 850) and everywhere else (WCDMA2100).
Better yet, is there any phone you know of that works in all 3G networks around the world...including the one in (South) Korea?

Simply put: Q9 does NOT support video calling (shamefully being the first Moto 3G phone which does not support video calling)

anonymous, 20 Oct 2008I just wanna ask if 18000 pesos which is 400 dollars if con... moreyes 1800 peso's =$400 dollars = 296.29 euros is definatley worth it but wait until chreistmas for the Q11 but i would advise the Q9 if you only want it for everything else but the camera on the Q11 is 3.15 but its not as good as the Q9 but im getting that one 2

I just wanna ask if 18000 pesos which is 400 dollars if converted is worth the cost of this phone? im plannin to buy one. hopin to read honest opinion of yours. it would be a great help. thanks a lot

oh my god i dont know what to say this phone is amazing everything it can do.
i bought this phone online and it came from america unlocked(i live in ireland) because it was no longer available on my network and i love it so much i use it too much everyday i have to charge it every night i also have a razr2 v8 and its so cool aswell but i think i will get the Q 11 too and keep the Q9h aswell how do you get video calling on it baecause i cant and im using it with three hutch whice is a 3g main service carrier and you can only have a phone on that network if you have a video calling phone but its nothing to worry about for me i use it to its full advantage instant messaging and e-mails mainly i advise everybody who wants a smartphone to get this its so amazing

in this model there is no video calling.

i600's better than this moto...
with wifi & video call. this phone's spec is not enough too beat that blackjack!

got this device afta reviews on this site.worked like a charm until i tried to use it as a modem!was a vodafone version in South Africa.
the phone freezes when i try to use it as a modem with USB cable.i actually have to take off the battrey to get the device to operate again!i took it back to the Vodashop where i got it on contract,they had it for 2 weeks,but when it came back it had the same problem.
has anyone else had the same problem?ithink there`s a batch of faulty fones in this range or is it just my bad luck...
i won`t advise anyone to buy this device,especially if they intend to use it for it`s modem feature!
